(This is made for any Deathclanner that wishes for a den to be in during a small thunderstorm. Male or Female I dont care. Perhaps friends would be good to make in this thread, but is entirely up to you. I am not looking for long posts here. A few hundred words are fine by me. I currently dont have a computer and id rather not spend half an hour on my phone trying to type a long reply. Thanks~)
Keira crouched in the roots of an overturned tree. Moss littered the ground in patches and an old mouse carcass lay in the corner. Her grey pelt rippled as she moved from side to side anxiously. Her bright aquamarine eyes looked around waiting. Watching.
The roots were perfect cover from animals and prey. But that faint Deathclan scent was trailing around everywhere. Many cats passed by the swamp and hunted along the grounds of Deathclan. But recently fighta had been going on between the captured and the elites. Honestly, Keira felt for them but she'd nevet show it. Feelings were like weakness in the clan. Nobody wanted that.
Clouds had begun to roll in over her grey body. She was glad that she'd started digging out the dead tree that her nest was under because otherwise, she was about to get wet. Thunder crackled overhead and unseen lightning strikes lit up the sky around her. Electricity in the air made her silky short coat stand on end.
As young as she was, this was going to be a rough day. She circled around the den and lay down near the exit. She closed her eyes for a few seconds then heard footsteps run past. She pelted after a brown furred thing and chased it down. She jumped on it and took it down to the ground. Caution was very little on her sensible list. Between the lightning and the thunder, the squeel it made she knew immeadiatly that it was a rabbit. A small one though. Barely enough for one cat to eat.
She carried her rabbit back to her den with a bloody maw and bloodspattered paws. She wasn't very hungry but her mom had taught her never to waste freshkill. She curled up and began tearing at the fur to get to the sweet meat below. She'd gotten about a quarter way through and heard footsteps near the end of her den.
She found it strange because it hadn't begun raining yet, but the thunder and lightning were happening at nearly the same time. Kiera had figured that no sensible deathcalnner would be out at this time. Yearling or Adult.
"I can smell you, don't hide anymore. Either come in or go away." She meowed, unenthused.

The warrior had been hunting without much luck near the river. He growled in frustration at this. The heavy scent of a storm was making his senses foggy due to the river smells and the heavy boggy smell of rain and thunderstorm. As if right on cue thunder rolled loudly over head. He narrowed his eyes at the sky mentally cursing his bad luck. He decided to take cover nearby and wait out the storm. Not like he would be missed by anyone, he didn't have too many friends.
The tom padded alongside the river. The closer he got to Kiera's hiding place the more he could smell her. Intrigued and slightly surprised to find some random cat in deathclan's territory and in a storm like this. Shaking his head he padded closer to investigate. That's when he heard he speak. He must have been off lately for someone to have detected him.
He slowly crept from the shadows. Lightning flashes overhead illuminating his dark brown tabby coat and bright burnt amber colored gaze. "What are you doing out here little one?" He rumbled indifferently. "Some would be a fool to be out in this." He flicked his head up towards the sky.

(Whoop computer XD) Galaxy hissed at a bright streak split the sky, and thunder rumbled in the distance. He was far from his den, which was somewhere in the heart of Deathclan's forest. The gray tom peered up with narrowed eyes, staring at the rolling clouds high above him, dreary, ominous, and grey. He sighed and foraged on, searching for signs of shelter rather than prey.
Stupid, stupid, stupid. He absentmindedly scolded himself, his tail swishing back and forth in his agitation. Lightning appeared again, with thunder soon after, and Galaxy flattened his ears against his head. the tom spotted the dark shape of Rebellion in the distance, trudging toward something.
Galaxy caught a whiff of something. Blood. The metallic scent was hard to mistake, even in humid air. He saw what Rebellion was moving towards: A youngling with grey fur.
"Well, there's something." He murmured to himself. It seemed like many younglings were coming to Deathclan each day., too many to keep track of.

(Rebellion, Galaxy) Being the little brat that Keira was, she snorted and circled the warrior with interest. Her aquamarine eyes detected strong, muscles that appeared to be ready to pounce on anything that he found wrong.
"And yet im the crazy one. You seem to be out and about yourself. Im merely hunting for my supper it seems. Tell me, stranger, who are you?" She asked, scanning his face for any trace of emotion.
As she waited for a reply, she sat down near him, but out of reach, and began licking her bloodstained paws. As she cleaned herself up, another warrior neared Rebellion and herself. This time she rolled her eyes and just muttered something under her breath. Her bright eyes looked over this one too but didn't see much of anything really. A grey pelt. Blue eyes. The usual pelt and eye combanations anyway.
"Yes, stranger, I'm the only crazy one here to be out in this storm." She muttered under her breath.
She stood up, slightly agitated and rather confused, and slid the kill towards the warriors. She figured thats really what they came for. Not to be best buddies, but for the thrill of the fights and the prey stealing. Blood dripped down the rabbits pelt and onto her paws once more and she took yet another step backwards before sitting again.
"Just take it. You must be here for it anyway." Keira whispered and her eyes became downcast.

I'm not a stranger to these parts." He chuckled. "I'm Rebellion. A Deathclanner." He followed her gaze towards where Galaxy were and shook his head with a smirk. "How quant. We seem to be bumping into each other all the time Galaxy." He commented before tuning to the younger cat. Watching as she pushed her meal away. He merely shook his head and sat down and wrapped his tail around his paws. "I'm not here for your prey Youngling." He moewed amused. "And I'm sure Galaxy isn't either. We don't steal others prey like that. You eat what you caught." He glanced at the sky. "So are to a stray or ye a Deathclanner too?" He asked tuning his gaze to the young cat

(I thought Galaxy was an Elite? I might be wrong. I don't know.) Keira's eyes flickered up towards the Deathclanner. Rebellion... sounded familier, but she wasn't really sure if it was the same clanner she'd heard of before. Her black ears swivled around and she started purring, but cut herself off because of her company. She crouched down and took the kill between her jaws and moved it back towards her log den.
"Rebellion.. I think i've heard of you. Maybe. I'm shocked actually. My father used to tell me of the Elites that used to take the prey of lower ranking clanners. That may have been before your time though."
Keira looked over at the ever silent Elite and looked back at Rebellion. His tabby pelt looked dry yet, despite it was beginning to rain down, and his burnt amber eyes looked ever curious of the situation. She looked him in the eye before feeling her pelt get hot and looking at her paws. The question still hung in the air, as if she was afraid to answer. She opened her mouth and a bright flash of lightning lit up her pelt and made her blink. Quickly after, a huge crash sounded and Keira jumped, her eyes opening wide in surprise, nearly into Rebellions paws. She blushed somemore and backed away again.
"I'm sorry.. I don't like storms. Yes, I am a fellow deathclanner. But I wasn't a long time back. Living in the solitude of the woods." She whimpered at first, but then her voice became stronger.
She sat down quickly and tucked her tail around her colored paws and she stared at the kill laying there. There was still a lot left, but not nearly enough to feed the Elite. Or Rebellion. The white moon shown on her chest and she licked her chest in embaressment.

He cocked his head. "Heard of me? Hmm I'm surprised quite frankly that anyone would have heard of me. I have few friends and tend to keep to myself." He mused. He was about to ask a question when thunder and lighting struck. He barely flicked an ear. "It's alright. I'm used to thunderstorms they have no affect. But someone as young a you would still harbor fears." He didn't mean to make it sound insulting or anything but stating a fact. He blinked watching the she cat get all flustered and gave a small smile of assurance that no harm was done before asking "What's your name then?"

Keira smiled back at him before relaxing a little. Harbor fears? I guess so. "My name.. im Keira. I was told it means little dark thing, but I cant always believe that." She meowed with a chuckle. She wairily eyed the Elite and looked back at Rebellion. He knew the Elite? Deathclan gossip travels faster than rogue gossip. She chuckled at her own joke. "Word travels fast around here I guess. It seems like just yesterday that I was hearing of the raids." She half purred. ( Galaxy)

Btw galaxy isn't an elite anymore. He was replaced by a different cat. Sorry forgot to tell you)
He chuckled. "Nice to meet you Keira. Welcome to Deathclan. He smirked before turning to Galaxy and sighed. "C'mon. Say hello." He laughed. "cat caught your tongue?" He teased before growing serious. "The raids huh?" he mused

(Ah makes sense. Thank you.) She turned to Galaxy and giggled. THe cat that has his tongue was Rebellion.
"Why thank you Rebel. May I call you that?" She joked, giggling again.
She turned to Rebellion and seemed thoroughly surprised that he was surprised. OR serious maybe.
"Don't you know? Drought sent his Elites for the clans to take them over. From what I heard, we're suring there." She said, smirking. "Stupid clanners"
(My sisters found a living turtle in our yard. I live 5 miles from a river... Think he's a litle far away?)

Oh I heard." He nodded confirming it. "I just haven't been too in tune to whats been going on I'm afraid. I've been absent for a bit." He moewed before smiling at the nickname. "Sure. I don't mind. First nickname I've gotten since I've been here." He shook his head

Keira watched him confirm what she had asked. She smiled and knew that he was probablty right.
"I believe that our clanners are currently standing by until we all fight. We're just the resistance." She gravely meowed.
Her eyes looked at the older tom and wondered what he was thinkig. Maybe he had no concern. Maybe he cared so much.
"All right then Rebel... do you think you could help me shape up my fighting skills? I seem a bit rusty." She murmured, looking at the tabby tom.

He smirked lightly. "Very well if you want to." He moewed rising to his paws. "Though to be quite frank I'm not sure how much damage you could do in battle with how small you are." He mused eying the smaller cat. "You just seem so...fragile." He shook his head. "Any bigger cat could be hard fight but we can find a way to us your size as an advantage." He moewed

((Sorry, bad reception where im camping.))
Keira smirked and got to her paws as well. Her ears flickered back and forth listening for sounds of any thunderstorms but it seemed that it was nearing its end.
"Somn c.f.me of the smaller cats have the biggest impact." She smiled "I think we'll be good."
She followed the brown tabby tom to wherever he was going. A slight drizzle was the end of the storm.

He nodded and laid them into a sheltered clearing not too far away. "Alright. Before I can teach you anything I need to know what you've learned beforehand. So. In whatever way your comfortable with I want you to attack me and we will start from there." He instructed standing still. "I won't fight back yet I'm just going to watch you alright?" He gave her a nod. "Start when your ready"
