It was nearly dusk, and the Clan was starting to settle in for the night. Maplefrost, returning from a tiresome day of doing absolutely nothing productive, padded into the warriors' den and plopped down in his nest. He was starting to feel increasingly guilty about not being able to carry out his warrior duties. Sure, the old calico could patrol if he was just walking, but hunting and running around had become difficult tasks.

He sighed and squeezed his eyes shut.

Perhaps it was time to talk to his daughter, Dustpetal, about an elder ceremony.

[Streamfall]

A blue eyed she-cat, another calico was also in the den. She just entered a few minutes after the rest did. Full den or not, it didn't matter to her. It was always chitter-chatter anyways which was good. With all these days getting apprentice or warrior ceremonies daily, the dens fill up. Streamfall was out hunting or exploring the forest territory or her apprentices. Speaking of which, it was time to get some new ones. However this she-cat was now a days on her own. It happens often.


"Hello there Maplefrost." Streamfall spoke kindly, coming in and sitting down. The night wind blew gently outside, creating such a nice breeze. She glanced at the older tom.. "You sure gotten older quicker than most. How have you been doing these days?"

she entered the den and saw to calico's who she had never met she did not want to be rude for they seemed to be in a conversation she moved to her nest quietly and called out " may i join you" she said with a poliet tone. she sat up and looked at the others and with a dip of her head she added " may i know your names?' she ask to soon sit silent she thought( Am i forgeting something.....ummm Oh my Name) she then added a little quicker than intended " I'm RiverShade" she then emberressed licked her under belly for a moment. and looked up to see if the more expeirensed warrior had even noteised her. she then got comfertable and waited in the gloom.
