'You've gotten into my bloodstream' I yawned as I stepped away from my far out nest, the center of the den quite far away. It was mostly how things worked. The older you were, the closer to the center you got. I was still a young apprentice even though it had felt like it had been ages. My mind took a little trip back to the good days. I remembered teasing squirt--Thunderpaw more than I did now. He was usually my object of interest, his reaction perfecting the attraction to mess with him. Yet, my kithood was short lived without too many friends. To this day I had Mintpaw, Tigerpaw, and Thunderpaw. Maybe we could consider ourselves a group. Looking around the den, I took a quick moment to wander around and poke each one for a little meeting, Thunderpaw being the first due to his nest being next to mine. "Wake up, Squirt! Meeting time!"
