Leopardripple is only going to drop me off and warn you two ^^Hawkbreeze slowly trudged back to camp with Leopardripple holding him up. His left eye was shut and bleeding, though blood had dried at the edges of the wound. When they had reached the medicine den, the tabby collapsed in the nearest nest, giving a small grunt.

Groaning, the onyx she-cat limped her way into the medicine cat den. Her eyes searched for a nest and she quickly lay her former mate into the nest as she looked down at him and sighed and then looked up. "Forestbreak, Clovepetal. I promise its not me your taking care of, rather Hawkbreeze here!" she called disappearing into the back to talk to the she-cats.
"A hawk had attacked us and took Hawkbreeze's eye .. please help him." she begged.

Forestbreak stood up from her nest with a start, her ears pricked. "A hawk took his eye?" Ironic, she thought, smirking inwardly, but on the outside, her face continued to be colored with worry. She scurried over to the tom's nest, carefully sniffing him over.
"Obviously the eye can't be restored, but we can try to prevent infection, which could be a huge problem," she muttered, concerned. "If it does get infected, the infection could easily get to his brain and kill him." She ran over to her herb storage and began rummaging through. She picked out a bundle of marigold and dock leaved, and busily began chewing them into a poultice. "Just try to stay still," she mumbled to the tom through a mouthful of herbs.

Hawkbreeze heard Forestbreak speaking, almost to herself, but the next minute, he felt the poultice being put where he eyes had been. It stung in his drying wound, and the brown and white tabby gave a grunt, clenching his teeth.

"Don't squirm," the medicine cat said sternly, placing a paw on her brother's flank. "I know it stings." She flitted over to the other end of the den, to the indented rock that held a small amount of water. Quickly, she nosed it over to Hawkbreeze. "Drink," she ordered.
The she-cat sat down, her brows furrowed in concern. "Once the poultice dries, I'll apply some cobwebs," she informed him.

Hawkbreeze gave a tiny groan of complaint at his sister's words, a small scowl on his face. Soon, a dented rock was nosed to him, and he was ordered to drink. The brown and white tom obediently lapped at the water before sighing. "Alright. Thank you." Hawkbreeze then laid in an awkward silence before speaking. "So, do you think it'll be infected at all?"
