( Cloudpaw) Cyra padded up to the riverside on heavy paws. Her body ached from her recent battles and lack of sleep. She lowered her head an stared at her reflection on the water's smooth surface. Across her face was a deep gash that sliced her face just above her nose. She frowned at herself. The disfigurement was very unsightly and very noticeable. She swiped her paw into the water and disrupted the smooth surface with huge ripples. She stood back up to her full height and watched the water. The breeze blew a familiar scent her way and she turned to face the she-cat, Keira.

Keira had been swimming in the river earlier in the day, cleaning off her wounds. She'd been malicously attacked by the rats, and attacked by Sunspots although it was only verbally, as well as being harmed by Rebellion during a training session. She was covered in cuts and bite marks from the attacks. She'd seen Cyra by the river bank, so she shook out her fur like a wet dog and walked over to Cyra. Seeing her tunr around, she faked a smiled and stood there.
"Royal Cyra." She dipped her head, and laughed.

Cyra let out a soft laugh. "Royal Keira," She meowed back with a little head nod. Cyra couldn't help but notice the scars that covered he clanmate. Both of the she-cats were in the fight with the rats and the snake that attacked Drought. Cyra picked up her leg and inspected the snake bite scar that came from the battle that made her a royal. She held up her leg to show Keira. "We like to get into trouble, huh?" she meowed. She licked her paw and drew it over her ear before placing her foot back down. She noticed the royal she-cat's fur was soaked. "Washing your wounds?" She asked. She sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws.

Keira smiled at her and giggled again. Cyra was pretty easy to get along with. She looked over the white she-cats fur and nodded. THey did look like a couple of fierce rogues. Even for a couple of not so harsh DC'ers.
"I guess we do like trouble."SHe laughed looking herself over, "Yes, I was. Rats are horrible creatures."
The silver she-cat looked over her own wounds and grimiced. She had a similar bite on her leg too, except on her back leg. They were matched, like sisters. Both she-cats appeared to be FULL of cuts that would turn into scars.
"I don't ever think I will hunt rats again." She meowed, turning up her nose.

((sorry for the late reply)) Cyra smiled back at Keira. "I guess I should probably do the same," she meowed looking at the river. She hadn't swan in the river yet because she still had a fear that she might drown. It was a stupid fear, but she still feared it. Cyra shook her head t clear it of her thoughts a looked back at Keira. "I never liked the taste of rats anyways," she meowed. After the fight with the pesky creatures she couldn't imagine eating another one ever again. The taste of the rats metallic blood still seemed to linger in her mouth even though the fight was over a while ago. "So, how is being a royal treating you?" she asked. She let out a soft purr. She was enjoying her new title though she knew she had to be careful. She would hate to be made a peasant again.
