It was the middle of the night when Sunspots suddenly jolted awake, hearing something. "Oog, its the middle of the night, whats going on?" she moaned padding out of her den in the ground. She started to look around, not seeing anything. You idiot, it was nothing. Get back to bed. Sunspots shook her head and turned back to her den only to hear a big splashing sound near the river. She started to sneak toward the river to see the trout leaping out of the water to catch the insects buzzing about. Her ears shot up and she heard something else: It sounded like a cat. "Who is there?" Sunspots meowed fluffing up.

Elsa had had enough. Every day, she ran to bring water to the mysterious voice, who called itself 'R'. Every day, she'd clean it (she wasn't sure if it was a he or she)'s bed. Every day, she'd hunt and bring it fresh-kill. Now, she'd had enough. To escape her 'masters' grip, the white she-cat had run down to the river on this amazing night. Great. Now to find a new nest, a new territory, and a new life. Were all she thought of as she raced through the trees. The branches teared at her fur, and for the first time in her life, she felt scared. What if it finds me? A mew reached her sharp ears and Elsa turned around, bristling. She relaxed when she saw a different feline. Stepping out from the trees, she dipped her head sharply. "Greetings."
