| Finally, after what seemed to be a lifetime of waiting, Robinheart had gained his suffix and deemed a warrior of IceClan. The tom was ecstatic and he couldn't wait until his vigil was finished. The moment the sun peeked over the horizon, the tom had bolted out of camp and into territory for a day to himself, just repeating his name over and over in his head.
He returned at sun-high, exhausted and ready to just knock himself out. He walked into the warrior's den and searched for a vacant nest. Robinheart lay in the outer circle of the group, knowing that the older warriors had the privilege of sleeping in the middle where it was warmer. Yawning, he settled into the nest, amber eyes half-closed. |

● why do i have to fly? ● Lightfall yawned and stretched in the Nursery, casting her amber gaze over the kittens once more, before exiting the Den. It was almost the middle of the day, and the queen had done nothing but lay around for the past few hours. She needed to get out and do something. Glancing at the warrior den, she decided she could perhaps check in and say hellos to Skyfire.
She trotted towards the den, her small, thin body easily slipping through the entrance. She glanced around, not able to find the large tom' brown and cream pelt. Perhaps I'll ask… she thought, making her way towards one of the only warriors in the den. "Hello? Have you seen Skyfire anywhere?" words: 137 ● tagged: Robinheart ● notes: why not? light needs to get around more. ❖ NOX ❖

| Robinheart lifted his head when he heard a voice coming from his right side. Trying to blink away the sleep that weighed him down, the black and white male settled his gaze on the stranger, surprise filling his expression for a moment. "Skyfire? The dude with the scar on his face? No, I don't think I've seen him around," he answered, hauling himself upright so he could properly talk to Lightfall. He cast her a half-smile, lazy and welcoming. Maybe his change in personality was the result of his exhaustion, maybe he was bored, Robin didn't know.
"My name is Robinheart, by the way," he added. "You're .. one of the queens, yes? Although, I can't quite remember which one." |

Lightfall studied the tom for a moment. He was clearly a new warrior for she recognized him from a ceremony not long ago, though she forgot his name, but he didn't seem too young. At his explanation, she shrugged, giving him a lopsided smile. "Ah well. I'll catch up to him later." She took a seat, hoping to befriend this new warrior. She needed to get around more and meet the Clan - right now was a perfect chance.
"You are correct, I am one of the queens." She purred, giving him a friendly nod. "It's a pleasure, Robinheart. I'm Lightfall. I recognize you from your ceremony." She meowed, flicking her plumy tail around her snowy paws. "Any apprentices?" She inquired, attempting to start a conversation.

| "Seems logical enough," he commented with an amused chuckle. If he had been human, Robinheart would have raised an eyebrow when the long-haired she-cat made herself comfortable. I guess she's staying here for a while then, he thought absently. To be honest, he was more than delighted to have someone not hissing and spitting at him for being such a jerk and show-off - well right now he wasn't but that's not the point - although Robin wouldn't admit that to anyone.
Robinheart felt his pride start to bubble when Lightfall mentioned that she had seen him at his ceremony, and couldn't help but grin at that. "Oh really now? Well, it really is a pleasure to be approached by such a lovely feline." Robin shook his head at her inquiry. "Nah, sadly, no apprentices yet. Little squirts have other warriors to be with, apparently," he joked. "I feel neglected really." |

She grinned at the young tom, giving him a small nod. At his next words, she nodded once more. "Yes. And I'd like to say congratulations. It's a big responsibility, but I think you'll handle it just fine. You're a good strong warrior, I can tell." She purred, flicking an ear. At his compliment, she gave him another smile. "Ah, well. Thank you, Robinheart. Your a good-looking feline yourself. We need more warriors in this Clan like you, kind and respectful."
At his response, she shook her head. "That's a shame, really. I believe you'd be a good mentor." She meowed. "Anyone would. Dustpetal, in my opinion, needs to give the younger warriors a chance at teaching the youngsters." She said, flicking her plumy tail. "Anyways, how have you been?"

| Robinheart felt his ego rising at the queen's compliments, but he forced them down. He didn't want Lightfall to start hating him, much like everyone he had ever met did. Thunderhowl, Vinewhip, Snowpaw .. Robin shook his head. I don't have time to think about them. I don't like them either anyway. "Ah, well. Thank you, Robinheart. Your a good-looking feline yourself. We need more warriors in this Clan like you, kind and respectful." Oh, kind and respectful now was he? Robinheart fought the urge to snort at that. The tom knew full well how rotten and rude he was, and CloudClan knew how much he hated himself for it too. Still, a part of him couldn't help but think that maybe if he tried harder, he could live up to what Lightfall was saying. "I'm just stating the facts here, love. I mean, anyone with eyes here can see that you're quite the specimen indeed. I bet other warriors would be dying to talk to you," he purred.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. With how many kits we have, I'm betting that it won't take too long." Robinheart was truly enjoying how Lightfall was treating him, and more so how he was treating her. Normally, he'd be making rude comments left and right and his arrogance knew no end. Well, let's keep it this way, he thought. Smiling, Robin nodded. 'I've been fine. A little tired from the vigil and the little stroll I took earlier, but fine. What about you? I'm sure those kits of yours keep you on your toes, don't they?" |

Amber eyes studied the black and white tom, a smile dancing across her lips. How she enjoyed good company, and Robinheart filled that spot perfectly. The two didn't look so different from each other, really. Same thick, patched coat, same amber-gold eyes. Lightfall glanced down at her pelt, for once annoyed with the fluffy texture. As the days went on, they seemed to be getting warmer and warmer, not something that she enjoyed. Sure, she liked sun-bathing, but the constant sun annoyed her too much. "You're too kind. You're the only one that's said such a thing to me." She purred, beaming at the young tom.
"I never thought of myself as good-looking. I personally don't like the look of my fluffy fur." She added, giving a shrug. He seemed to think it didn't look bad, though. "You are just as fine of a specimen, dear." She gave him a wink. At his response to her early question, she hesitated. "Oh! I'm not keeping you awake, am I? I can leave if your too tired." By instinct she was worrying and protective. She tried knot to do this with older felines, but sometimes she couldn't help herself. "The kittens? Oh, yes. They are tiring indeed. Breaks from caring for them are always appreciated, so if anytime you find yourself alone, come visit me. Your company is enjoyable and it would give me an excuse." She grinned. "Anyways, I'm glad those DeathClanners are gone. It was hard to keep the younger kittens inside the den all the time."
