The suspense was killing her. But when he told her what to do, she hesitated. "What? A tree? You want me to climb a flipping tree? Like some sort of squirrel or raccoon, or something that we prey on." She huffed. "This is going to be humiliating." She added. She glanced around to make sure some other wolf wasn't watching. Padding up to the tree, she looked over her shoulder. "Ergh. Your gonna kill me someday, Rueff. There is no way a wolf can climb a tree." She sighed in disbelief. She had to do it, though. She fit her claws into the bark, not sure even how to climb. She'd never tried such a thing before, nor had she ever wanted to. She was fine with climbing mountains, but wolves weren't supposed to climb trees. It wasn't right. She tried hauling herself up, but her body weight was too heavy in contrast to her legs. The most she got was a few inches of air, then she collapsed to the ground panting. "I failed." She laughed. "Truth or dare." THE FIRST THING I LEARNED IS TO NOT CRY WITHOUT YOU. Rueff snorted with laughter. He guess he should let Makoce get him back though.
" Dare "
His tail would be between his legs, y'know, if he still had a tail. He churned the dirt beneath his paws in anticipation. He wasn't very good with suspense, or anticipation, or humiliation

Makoce narrowed her golden-amber eyes in concentration. "Hm…" she said quietly as she thought. What would be a good dare? She wasn't very good of thinking up ideas for the game, but she needed a good one. Something that would get back at the male for humiliating her in front of… well, him. "I dare you to eat every flower around us." It wasn't a good dare. She knew that, but it was all she could think of. There wasn't much around in this area, besides fields of flowers and some hills of forest a while off. She grinned at him, her eyes challenging. THE FIRST THING I LEARNED IS TO NOT CRY WITHOUT YOU. " HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW A RAVEN IS LIKE A WRITING DESK "
I haven't the slightest idea! Rueff wrinkled his nose at the thought. The idea made him gag. " You do realise that I live in a tundra, right? " This was going to ruin the idea of home for him. At least this was a choppy part, unlike camp. He was going to point out that some of then could be poisonous. He snarled, then sighed. He wasn't going to chicken out. Makoce didn't. He wouldn't give her the satisfaction. He mumbled curses as he stood. He wrinkled his nose. Most of the clearing was just dead grass, but there were plumes and patches of greens and reds and purples. He padded over to one, sniffing it, then sneezing as the pollen went up through his nose. He coughed. " Only this one patch, OK? " He couldn't stand the idea of more. He didn't think he could even do this much. He leaned down and put his teeth around the stem, plucking it. The moment he chewed, he gagged, sickly juices sliding down his throat. His long, pink tongue lolled out, covered in mushy, purple petals. He forced them down his throat without chewing. Uurrrg. That didn't feel good, but he wasn't going to give up. He went along, plucking each individual flower and forcing its way down his throat until there was just a bare patch in the dead grass. He opened his mouth, showing a few stray petals lingering in his mouth, but he'd done it. He felt like he would throw up, but he'd done it. His stomach writhed as he turned to Makoce "Truth or Dare?" TAG: Makoce WORDS: 307 NOTES: I think I'm going to get him to wander up to Yechta later and throw up on her. Cause he'd good like that

-- xD. i may watch that thread. like the template. -- Makoce watched in amusement. She had the fleeting guilt of making the male sick, but she shrugged it off. He'd be fine, and she wouldn't be at fault for anything. "Not bad, yeah?" She called out as he made his way through the patch. She grimaced at the sight - eating flowers. She understood that sometimes it had to be done in order to heal, but that many at once? Not to mention they tasted bad, anyways. "Come on, they can't be that bad." She said, nonetheless. When he returned, he didn't look so good. Something like how a wolf would look after it ate a rotting mouse. She hid her expression, not wanting Rueff to know how he looked - though he probably could already guess. She sucked in a breath. "Welcome to the life of a shaman, wolfy." She chuckled. "Sorry about that, Bud." She tilted her head, trying to decide. Truth? Or dare? She felt as if Rueff would do something unkind to her if she chose dare, causing her to only pay him back. So she chose truth. "Truth." She told him, perking her ears as she waited for an oncoming question. She could only hope he wouldn't ask anything too personal! though she knew if she was in his shoes! that was exactly what she'd do. THE FIRST THING I LEARNED IS TO NOT CRY WITHOUT YOU. " HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW A RAVEN IS LIKE A WRITING DESK "
I haven't the slightest idea! She called him Bud. Bud? He gagged. He probably ate a few of them. He paused thinking. He was about to call her a Pansy, but decided not too, because aaa few of them were probably floating around in his stomach too. Truth. Hmmm. Was this supposed to be a hard question to answer? It was a good way to leach information. He started off with something simple, because he didn't want to cross some sort of line (as he usually did) " What does Makoce mean? If it does mean anything, of course " TAG: Makoce WORDS: 118 NOTES: N/A

Makoce watched him, gagging and all. She didn't blame him. At first, eating flowers and plants all day had done something along those lines to her. When he spoke, her ears perked. So, he decided to start off simple, eh? That was such an easy question to answer, but she took her time. "Earth. My name means earth." She replied simply, challenging him to ask any question. "Why such an easy one, Bud?" She called him that name again. She found it funny. "Truth or Dare?" THE FIRST THING I LEARNED IS TO NOT CRY WITHOUT YOU. SECOND, TO NOT WALK ALONE. " HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW A RAVEN IS LIKE A WRITING DESK "
I haven't the slightest idea! Rueff growled at her as she re-called him that wretched nickname. " Truth " Hey, if she chose the easy option, so would he. He wasn't in the mood really, to climb a tree or something else humiliatingly ridiculous. He sighed, but he liked this game. It kept him edgy. He studied Makoce closely. He hoped it wasn't too bad. It probably was, but he honestly didn't care too much. It wasn't that big of a deal to pour his heart out to a stranger as it used to be. He thoroughly doubted Makoce would run off and find a way to use this against him. She seemed nice. It was hard to find like minded wolves these days. TAG: Makoce WORDS: 142 NOTES: N/A

Makoce frowned, thinking. Truths were easier, by far. And she liked them better, too. One could learn a lot about another, because the other person had to tell them. Sometimes, she liked to take advantage of that power. She could make them spill out their heart to her by playing this game, but when the other was higher in power, she hated it. So she decided not to make him spill out his heart to her - or, not all of it at least. She looked at him, studying him. Her gaze wandered to his leg, and with a start, she realized something. She hadn't put voice to her question before: What would any wolf torture another like that? Over what? Before, she couldn't have expected to Rueff to answer. But now she could. She looked him in the eye, her own curious. "Who were you attack by? And why, exactly?" THE FIRST THING I LEARNED IS TO NOT CRY WITHOUT YOU. SECOND, TO NOT WALK ALONE. " HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW A RAVEN IS LIKE A WRITING DESK "
I haven't the slightest idea! Rueff winced at the question. He didn't tell it a lot. Yechta had no clue, and he doubted Matana knew the whole story. He sighed. He would answer, it was in the namesake of the game. " Well, I had a friend. Ally, maybe. My only ally back then. And he got into a... disagreement with a wolf Broken Shadow. In his defence, she was trying to eat him "So, anyway. Broken Shadow and her psycho-in-training Discord tried to fight him, really. Or eat him. Whatever you call it. He was a lanky little thing. So, I stepped in. And he kind of hid away. So in was mainly a two-on-one. Wasn't one of my proudest moments. Discord bit down on my leg, pinning me. And Broken took my ear, and my eye. She tried stabbing me with a stick, but it didn't work " Rueff shrugged. It wasn't one of his proudest moments when he was left to die. That's as gory as he would go into it. And the was pretty in-depth for him. He'd have to get Makoce to tell him something now, but he could see no story written on her face, no significant scars f features that opened like a story book (as they did for him). His stomach writhed, but he wasn't sure of it was from flowers.

Makoce winced at the story. Cannabalism? That was horrible. Worse then horrible. She shouldn't have asked that question - she was going to be sick, even though she hadn't eaten any flowers. Her stomach twisted in disgust, but she managed to hold the food down. She couldn't stop imagining a wolf eating another wolf. "I'm sorry." She said quietly, looking at the ground. She felt guilty. It must have been a pain for Rueff to tell her such a story. And now, the game was ruined. Well, almost. She could try and make it fun again. "I choose dare. If we're still playing, that is." She announced, the last sentence quieter. She moved her eyes up to look at Rueff, but her head remained in the same position. THE FIRST THING I LEARNED IS TO NOT CRY WITHOUT YOU. " HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW A RAVEN IS LIKE A WRITING DESK "
I haven't the slightest idea! Rueff chuckled, throwing it off casually. " What are you apologising for? It's the name of the game " Rueff pursed his lips thoughtfully at the thought of dare. He was running little ideas through his mind, but they were petty, and silly, and just plain awful. Finally, he settled for something. It wasn't much, but he hoped Makoce was still in the game. " I dare you, to choose truth " He wanted to know more about this new femme TAG: Makoce WORDS: 102 NOTES: Aarrg. Sorry it took so long.
