As you probably saw in the board description, LGBTQ+ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer.
Lesbian: A homosexual female. Gay: A homosexual male. Bisexual: A person attracted to both males and females. Transgender: A person whose gender identity does not match their biological sex. Queer: A person who feels that their sexuality and/or gender somehow do/does not fit within the norms of society. This is an umbrella term, and is therefore intentionally vague.

No, the club is not just about gays and lesbians. It's also a place for bisexuals, transgendered folk, and anyone else who fits within the queer spectrum.

Yes, this club is by no means restricted to any of the "types" of sexualities and gender..Icanthtinkoftheword's out there. This club is free to straight people, as well as people who are not transgendered. If you feel that you need advice, or perhaps you're curious about something, you are more than welcome to talk about it here, no matter your sexuality, gender, beliefs, etc. We only ask that you remain respectful.

First lesson of LGBTQ+ club, transgendered is not correct terminology. There's no past tense, it's just transgender. Second lesson, non-transgender people would be referred to as cisgender people. Terminology is fun.

^ that's a really useful lesson, considering how I hear some people on the street saying "oh yeah, so-and-so transgendered themselves" >///>;
