Lotuspetal hated thorns. She hated them as much as she hated sleeping. Today she fell in a thorn bush. Imagine getting a bunch of pins stuck all over you. Lotuspetal felt that way. But the apprentice-sized senior felt a rush of excitement. Lemme interpret that: she was basically happy to get impaled by thorns. Creeping into the medicine cat den, the black feline mewed, " Littlefox? I got impaled! Literally." Lazy. Lazy. Bleh.

"Good grief, Lotuspetal, it's as if you just roll around in thistles all day," Littlefox sighed and trotted over to the prickly black feline. "I imagine a senior warrior such as yourself has a high tolerance of pain, so..." she trailed off before beginning to mercilessly yank out the thorns and spitting them to a small corner where other debris lie.
"This... will only... hurt for a few... minutes," she meowed between plucking. Finally the last thorn was tossed into the pile. "There. Now will you need any marigold or do you think you'll survive the night without those scratches getting infected?"

Lotuspetal who only flinched at the first few thorns, listened quietly. "I wanted to roll again..... But I'll manage without marigold. I hope." The black feline smiled a bit, wondering what trouble she should get in. Lotuspetal heaved up, stumbling a bit, then felt a bit achy. Did anyone ever feel this way when getting lots of thorns pulled out? Maybe.
