Rainfeather felt different, that much was apparent before she even opened her eyes. For starters she could breathe with ease, no longer feelings that shaking in her lungs. Her bones did not ache- actually she just felt all around lighter. When the silver tabby opened her eyes, she was shocked to find stars in her fur- her body only faintly transparent.
She was dead.
The old she-cat felt many things at this point. A bit of panic, indignation, and sadness to name a few. I can't be dead. I was fine. I went to sleep beside Moonpool and Shrewbreaker, it was fine. I was fine. Jumping to her paws- now with what felt like the energy she had as a kit- Rainfeather began to walk. "What a ridiculous way to die. I always wanted to go out fighting, but no. Just...poof, I'm done. Hmph, how degrading." She mumbled. I must have just passed on in my sleep. I mean, I knew I was old, but I didn't think I was that old... Coming to a pause, Rainfeather felt her tail droop and heaviness settle in her heart. "I never got to say goodbye..." She whispered.
Rainfeather was so caught up in her thoughts she didn't hear the other cat approach, or maybe paw steps couldn't be heard in Cloudclan.

"There are worse ways to die."
Cloudbreeze walked over to the new spirit, a she-cat who had come from TreeClan. Not a fellow clan mate, but it was a new face. The former RockClanner smiled at the cat. "Dying in your sleep is a nice way to pass. No pain. I wish I had died that way, knowing I was old. I died by falling onto rocks and slipping from a tree branch in the Hunger Games we had a while ago. What pity." She gave a tiny laugh before sitting down.
"So, who are you? I know you aren't from RockClan."

Rainfeather glanced over at the other she-cat. "My name is Rainfeather- you know, I have a son in Rockclan." She mewed, sitting down in the grass, wrapping her thick tail around her white paws. "I suppose now I'll be able to check up on him now, won't I?" She asked. Obviously not physically. But as a young cat she was always told how Cloudclan watched over them all. So now that would be her job- to watch over her clan and family.

"Nice to meet you, Rainfeather. My name is Cloudbreeze. You do? That's interesting. Perhaps I've met him? What's his name?" She tilted her head to the side, before nodding. "Yes. We watch over not only our clan but all the clans. We are connected one way or another." Cloudbreeze smiled. "You may find CloudClan a bit dull. But, it is peaceful at times."

To be honest Rainfeather was already getting the impression that 'quiet' was the perfect way to describe Cloudclan. Not that it was bad, it sure would be a difference than the hustle and bustle of clan life. "His name is Puddlefrost." She mewed, easily picturing her son- he was a grey tabby like her, but with his father's bright green eyes.

"Puddlefrost sounds like a familiar name. I feel like I may have seen him before." Cloudbreeze shrugged. "Anyway, since we have welcomed you, would you like to hunt? That's something we can do all the time. Feel free to go into any territory as well. I believe we're in the TreeClan area right now." She looked around with a nod.
