- LlamafuzzKorren stumbled through the brambles, he had just received acceptance into the Farmland Tribe yesterday and was still a bit unsure of the territory layout. Clawing himself through a particularly thick bush he cursed silently to himself, attempting to retrace his steps he backtracked, however this led to nothing but more confusion as to his surroundings. Suddenly he stopped, he could have sworn he heard a noise. Half squeaking half growling he mewed "Hello? Who is it?"

"No need to sound hostile, it's only me," Aslan replied to the half-growled query with an easy-going grin. He was well aware that the lack of introduction wouldn't really help at all, but the tom aimed to amuse. Observing the younger calico male with veiled curiosity, Aslan eventually shrugged. "And who might you be?"

Korren shrank back a bit, he was still having trouble adjusting to meeting new cats what felt like every five seconds, on the other hand he had been lost and this cat had rescued him...Sort of. Realizing that the larger tom had spoken Korren hurriedly mewed "Oh, sorry, I'm Korren" clearing his throat Korren added "Um, might you know the way back to camp?"

Korren? One of the younger recruits then. It wasn't so surprising he'd found the tom in this state after all. With his rank, Aslan made it his business to know every member of the Tribe. Ragabash didn't do as much, so it fell to him. "Right, a pleasure then," he greeted eventually with a nod. Heaving an exaggerated sigh, Aslan straightened.
"If I didn't, I wouldn't make a very good tribe cat, now would I?"

Korren nodded, then cleared his throat once more "Um, if you don't mind might you show me the way? I don't really like getting lost in unknown territory with strange cats at night time"

His eyes narrowed in the slightest of amusements, but he kept his thoughts to himself. Evidently his barb had been missed. It gave him a better indication of Korren's character. "Whether I mind or not true does not matter. Leaving a tribe-mate lost out here when he could be spending his time doing something more productive is foolish. I'll show you back, if you'll follow me." Turning, he began to walk.

Increasing his speed to match the larger tom's pace Korren sighed in relief, so he wasn't going to starve out here in the cold wild, he doubted he could catch anything, considering he had removed his kitty-pet collar just a few days back.

"You're awfully quiet," Aslan noted with an absent flick of his tail. "My name is Aslan, since you never asked." All of the tribe members knew who he was, not that it was something that mattered. He was curious as to whether or not the newer Korren had heard of him though, it was simply another test.

Aslan...He thought he had heard that name before but coulden't place just where...Oh well, it didn't matter Korren was no longer cold, hungry, and wet, that's what mattered. After a moment Korren asked "Aslan? How did you join the tribe?"

So he didn't. It was another notion Aslan marked down as he examined Korren. That was two tests now, with interesting and amusing results. The tom smiled suddenly, but didn't explain it. "I didn't join, I created." He answered simply with a flick of his ear.

I didn't join, I created... that last comment sparked Korren's interest looking up at the larger tom Korren mewed "You mean you were one of the first? What was it like?" Korren was pleased that this conversation had taken such a unexpected turn, after all, it was best that he increase his knowledge of the tribe as quickly as possible.

Aslan chuckled heartily as Korren finally caught on. "I was swept along by Ragabash, your leader. Things escalated from there. I certainly never intended to become part of a tribe until I met him." The immature leader was someone Aslan cared deeply for, even if he was an idiot. "It was hard work, especially trying to keep him in line. But fun."

Fun Korren couldn't fathom how keeping someone like that "in line" could be fun, but then again different cats found different things amusing so he shrugged it off. After a moment he mewed "What does the territory look like?"
