Stormpaw had just finished his hunting training and was told to bring back prey for the elders. He brought in a rabbit and two nice in case anyone would be feeling hungry today. Stormpaw dropped the prey in the den where the elders could get to it easily and turned for the door. That should be good enough. He thought and padded away to get prey for the Queens.

The newer elder was resting her eyes when her ears caught paw-steps. Flicking her ears, the elder lifted her head with a yawn and then shook her head turning to see a young black apprentice "O-Oh.. Hello young one" she purred as she sat up. Looking down, the female saw the prey and purred "Thank you sweet heart .." she said pawing the rabbit over to her.

Stormpaw looked back over his shoulder then turned his entire body as he padded back over to the elder. "You're very welcome, ma'am," He said with a dip of his head, glad to be of service for someone. "My name's Stormpaw." He said introducing himself.

Smiling as he turned around, she took a bite of the rabbit and swallowed it as she listened to him "Oh please, no need to be so formal around me, I just recently retired I ain't that old yet!" she said with a grin as she flicked her tail "Leopardripple, nice to meet ya Stormpaw" she purred taking another bite.

Stormpaw gave a smile to Leopardripple. "That's a nice name; nice to meet you too." He noticed she took another bite of the rabbit. "Does it taste alright for you?" The apprentice asked her.

"Its freshly caught I could tell, and rabbit is my favorite prey~ would you like some?" asked the onyx elder as she pawed it toward him and smiled "Thanks! I love my name too" she purred "Its my dream warrior name, whats yours?" she asked.

He nodded with a small purr. "Yes please!" The apprentice took a bite of it but made sure Leopardripple would still have plenty. As she asked him the next question Stormpaw thought about it; he didn't really have one particular favorite warrior name in mind. "Stormcloud would have to be my favorite." Remembering what a friend of his said he added, "As long as I get one I will be happy though."

The senior smiled "Your very welcome" she purred and then sat up fully so she wouldn't look so lazy. The she-cat watched him as he thought about what it would be. Stormcloud ... thats different she thought and smiled "Sounds nice, just dont become mates with any Rainstorm" she joked, then she smiled "You will, it will just take Darkstar a while" she said.

Stormpaw gave a nod and wondered if Rainpaw would actually have the warrior name, Rainstorm. I haven't even talked to her since she became an apprentice. Does she even remember me? He flicked the thought away with his ear. "Don't worry. I don't think I'll become mates with a Rainstorm. And I know it will take a while but now that more cats need a ceremony maybe she'll give the ceremonies soon."
