Viperpaw Small claws ran up and down the walls, the screech of their presence enough to rip me in half. I squirmed unpleasantly at the dream's contents, the horror filling me fully to the brim. I woke in a cold sweat, the last stubborn night's stars edging away from the sky's ever brightening sun. I gave a disapproving hum at the heat, much rather hoping for the cold winter's snow flakes the settle upon my coat like a new layer of life. Yet, it wasn't winter.
I looked about, nearly frantic as I looked for Chance. A wolf I new maybe well, maybe not so well. It depended on what Chance had to think. The thrum of an empty sky filling with thunder's loud booms and lightning's spine tingling cracks gave me the shivers as I looked around outside. I was nearing to the point of being soaked to the bone before a familiar smell reached me. I followed with hope to see the coat oh so similar to mine. I gave an excited yelp and dashed forwards, almost slipping in the muddy earth. "Chance, I was looking for you! I want to play in the rain, you too?"
