[for Crevicelight] Mousepaw was bored out of her mind. Being an apprentice sucked. She didn't dare do any of the fun kit games for fear of being called immature, and the cool battles were 'warriors only.' Never mind that she had the 'freedom' of an unscheduled life; that so-called privilege was driving her insane.
So, naturally, the femme decided to make some friends. Being the social butterfly she was, this should be easy. Right?
Giving her fur a quick grooming, tongue rasping eerily in the silence, she curled her mouth up into a friendly smile, tasting the air for fellow apprentices. Swiveling her narrow muzzle around to scan the den for other cats, she made a magnificent entrance, voice ringing clearly. "Bow down to your monarch, peasants, for I am the queen of boredom!"

Crevicepaw pawed her bedding, not really caring if it was starting to shred into pieces or not. There was practically nothing an apprentice could do without a mentor, and as much as she wanted to ask Flamepath or Cloverstar for another warrior to train her, the Turkish Angora still had high hopes for Silverfoot, even if training just happened once. Once the right side of her bedding was destroyed, she sniffed the air, taking a small sneeze in exchange. Oh mousebrain! She knew that sniffing the moss too long would cause her to sneeze! Hmm? The cat's ears perked as she heard a loud cry - 'Bow down to your monarch, peasants, for I am the queen of boredom!' Peasants? Monarch? Who did this stranger think she was doing? The colors in Crevicepaw's eyes slightly shifted, curious, wanting to hear more of what this fellow clanmate was so determined to talk about. "Queen of Boredom, huh? Well, then I'm the Queen of Excitement!" she declared, bouncing over to the stranger's side. "Together we can rule the lands of Boredom and Excitement.

[ sorry for the late reply; school just started and i've got like asdfghjkl so much homework my bad ] A sneeze rang out across the den, followed by the Queen of Excitement introducing herself rather grandly. Squinting her eyes to flinty slits suspiciously (who was this 'paw to claim a title mightier than hers?), Mousepaw spotted a tabby-and-white she-cat. Stepping forward delicately, the whole magnificence of her tiny Majesty revealed, the femme dipped her head formally, eyes sparkling in the gloom. "Greetings, fellow Monarch. How goes it in the land of Excitement?" With an airy laugh that echoed off the den walls, the tortoiseshell answered her own question. "Excitably, I presume."
Tilting her head, she whispered secretly, muzzle an inch away from the other Queen's ear, "Ah, I have some news..." drawing out the pause dramatically, she murmured, "I have been promoted. Not only am I the Queen of Boredom, but now the Queen of Unicorns and Moose too."

Crevicepaw smiled, larger than intended, seeing that the Queen of Boredom was not the type to aggressively question the Queen of Excitement's exquisite title. She laughed once, at the pun that was ever so cleverly constructed. About to give a response, the other Queen gave some news, giving Crevicepaw the tingles. She'd expected for some terrible tale to be told, but only to find that her new ally was also Queen of Unicorns and Moose. With the new formality, the Queen of Excitement bowed, looking up to the other Queen. "It's an honor, meeting the one who rules over another kingdom." She then stood up once more flicking her tail, wrinkling her nose. "It seems as if the peasants have forgotten that royalty still exists around here."
it's okay! school comes first.<3 ✿

Mousepaw dipped her head, a purr rising in her throat. This cat wasn't half bad. Squinting into the gloom of the apprentices' den, the Queen of Boredom, Unicorns, and Moose let a sigh escape her lips. No figures appeared to bow to her; no slaves queued to serve her; no surfs humbly offered her food and drink. What was this land coming to? Voicing her concerns aloud and nodding in agreement to Crevicepaw, she mewed, "Yes, it does seem so. Those plebeians never had much sense in those half-empty heads of theirs."
Struggling to keep a straight face, the muted calico added dryly, "Apprentices these days. They're odd ones, they are. I guess we blend in with the rest of them just fine." Eyeing the tabby-and-white curiously, the tiny tortie issued a formal request: "The Queen of Boredom and Other Such Things would like to know the name of Your Highness of Excitement, if you will."

She looked around, scanning the den, believing every word that her high statused ally was so keen to expressing. "I guess it just makes our job easier. Blending in, it is." she giggled. "My kingdom of Excitement is being slowly overruled by our new cats, leaving the older ones to do nothing, but watch as the younger ones get their tasks done." With this, she was referring to the younger apprentices, how they were so excited to train, while the older ones knew that training around Rockclan was awfully rare. She did not blame them, since she too, was one of those naive apprentices before. Her ears twitched, confused a bit by the request. Why, she already stated that she was the Queen of Excitement, so what was there left to call her? She then blinked, remembering. Her common name. "It's Crevicepaw." she said, with a bit of a sigh. How she wished to become a warrior already! Her eyes danced like fire, looking at those of the calico. "What's your name?"
