◥ ryekit of treeclan The sun had set, casting its dying rays through the trees and into the camp clearing. After an tiring day of play, Ryekit was just about ready to fall asleep on her paws. Her eyelids felt heavy as she tottered back to her den. At least, she thought it was the nursery. The orange she-kit accidentally entered the apprentices' den in her state of relative exhaustion. Without really noticing what she had done, Ryekit stumbled over to where she thought her nest was, and flopped down. Only when she felt fur underneath herself did the young feline jolt into full wakefulness with a yelp. She rolled off the cat she'd just laid on. "I"m so sorry!" Rye meowed frantically. Hopefully, the apprentice wouldn't cuff her ears for her mistake...

◥ ryekit of treeclan It appeared that Crowpaw had been fast asleep until she'd arrived. For several long moments, Ryekit cringed... but then the apprentice laughed. Relaxing slightly, she let out a relieved sigh. "I just didn't realize where I was going. I thought I was in the nursery," she explained to the white cat. Well, he didn't seem angry, which was good. At the very least, Crowpaw seemed a little disappointed that he'd been dragged out of his dream. That was to be expected, though. Ryekit was fairly certain that apprentices valued naps, as they must work very hard during their training. The orange kitten managed a weak grin at his joke. "My name is Ryekit."

◥ ryekit of treeclan Ryekit realized that she should probably leave, but it was sorta nice to talk to Crowpaw. "Nice to meet you," commented the little cat. A few seconds later, her jaws parted in a huge yawn. The last rays of light had fled the clearing now, leaving the world dark. "Yeah, I am. Maybe I should go," Rye meowed. She didn't really want Applefall to wonder where she'd gone... and getting flattened by a tired apprentice didn't sound like a good idea, either. The orange feline turned and trotted from the den.
