Broken Promises
I listened as you told me your promises that day, you'd said you'd never break them and that you'll try to keep them, I believed you there, every single word, little did I know you'd create a hurt that burned. It burned though me, it hurt so much, you lied to me, I had enough. One promise broken, another and a third, I learned from the past two ones to never trust your words.
I spoke my thoughts to you, what you did hurt and you thought nothing of it, saying I should of learned. Your brushed it off and acted cruel it felt like you were the hammer and I was the jewel. A jewel that shined and held itself together but as the hammer came down everything had shattered.


Pieces is what you left me in, pain is what I got, tried to be someone who could be there for you and you treat me like that? I'm sick of your lies and I'm sick of your games, you were never a friend or was willing to change. Chance after chance you got each time but you used it to your advantage using me so many times. Why contact me so much as you did? Fake apologies and empty words, but I fell for it and I don't know why I tried anymore..

This could go both friendship or relationship.
Ever have someone who lied to you and pretended to be your friend? Hurt you and when they noticed they said the two words 'Never again?' Apologies after apologies but in the end they meant nothing? A friend shouldn't do that to you, a real friend wouldn't. This friend however did and I got sick of the fake 'friendship'.

Yes, I love writing poetry or songs. So guys what do you think?
