( I'm back from my short vacation and I'm stuck using my phone so sorry for the short and messy threads! ))
Stepping out into the sunlight stood the large male looking amongst his surroundings . His yellow orbs squinting at the powerful sun rays . How long has it been ? Days , weeks , possibly months !? Who knew ...All he knew was that he had been on his own since then , and surprisingly things went quite well . You can almost say he enjoyed the loneliness . It seemed to have helped him better be able to manage his emotions .
Looking amongst the clearing , his eyes rest on the large lake that gleamed beautifully as the sun bounced upon it . At a quick pace he made his way towards the lake and sat down at the bank of it . He stood straight and tall as he gazed beyond at the trees in the distance ominously swaying to and fro . Tate sighed and let a sly grin spread across his face . It had certainly been quite a while since he had ever felt this happy and relaxed before .

| HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW A RAVEN IS LIKE A WRITING DESK...? |
Rueff cackled, the harsh sound carried by the crisp breeze that blew across the mass of water. As he walked, he brushed his claws across the dirt, watching the subtle trails they left in the loose dust. So, so peaceful. It was kind of sickening.
Now, don't get me wrong, Rueff is usually a good guy. Usually. But without that power, and the company of his pack that he clung to with dear life, he felt that blackening illness seep through his veins like thick, dark ink. Yechta was once his beacon, that one good person that brought him back from his hopeless, bitter demise. She was that light, carefree quirky light that made him strive to be better. To be good, and whole, and she quelled his demons. But now she was facing her own demons, and he was alone.
And his demons were back.
He pressed his forehead hard into the rough trunk of a tree, loving the feeling, of how the skin stretched as he pulled his lips back to reveal menacing, blunt canines. He breathed in deeply through his nose... Smelt the fresh, sweet scent of water, and of grass and pollen and... wolf.
His singular ear perked. He pulled away from the thick trunk. Thoughts that had originally formed in his head swirled into black ink and blended into the darkness of madness that was corrupting him. But he knew there was a wolf. And close. There were no trees around the lake, so the patchy pelt of Tate was not hard to find. He stepped out from the shelter of the few choppy trees there were, and his grin broadened. He knew this wolf.
"How's my madman in training, hmm?" Rueff chuckled to himself as he cocked his head to the side in a questioning way. He remembered Tate's crazed little outburst. And he held back his laughter. But he looked relatively OK now... What a shame.

Just as he was about to make his way back he caught scent of another male around . Instinctively he stood up , narrowing his eyes towards the scent . Heavy steps made their way forwards , but before Tate could even get a single word out of his mouth out walked a familiar . His shoulders tensed a bit at the unexpected male . He wasn't even sure it was really him at first . " Greetings Rueff , fancy seeing you here . " he replied in a cool yet edgy tone . His yellow eyes glanced around making sure he was alone , were the rumors true ? " My I say , I am quite surprised your still up and about , even with all these rumors spreading around like a wildfire . " His eyes now nothing but squinted slits looked him in the eyes and for a second Tate felt as if something was troubling the male . He looked as if half his sanity was ...gone .

"Rumours?" Rueff purred. "What are you on?" He cackled like it was the funniest thing that had ever left his lips. He had heard of no such rumours! He was in tip-top... What was he saying again? Oh well. His mind kept wandering, kept delving deep into his mind and finding nooks and crannies he had never seen before! It's a shame he couldn't remember any of them...
Besides, being perfectly sane gets so boring. Don't get me wrong, having coherent thoughts is great and all, but the consiousness. Eck. You were just conscious of everything. Guilt, happiness, emotions, right-and-wrong. You couldn't do anything fun!
Rueff's face pulled up into a delightful stare. He approached Tate warily, starting to circle him. "So Tate, what sort have rumours have you heard lately?"
