For you MMO/Elder Scrolls fans out there, let me tell you about this game called The Elder Scrolls Online. Most people just call it ESO, me being one. And it's a lot of fun. Now, keep two things in mind. This is an MMO, yes, but it is not some random game made from nowhere, but rather an MMO based off of an ongoing single-player RPG series.
If you're from an MMO community and have never played any Elder Scrolls games before, this is a game that is packed with lots, and lots of lore, and die hard Elder Scrolls fanboys/girls. It isn't really t hat hard to get into it, but still, this is essentially the sixth game in an ongoing gaming series.
If you're from the Elder Scrolls community and have never played an MMO before, this is a game that is packed with the same lore, races, and places you love, but you're no longer alone. This is now a game with thousands of other people playing the same quests, fighting the same monsters, and waging the same wars as you.
If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, that's perfectly fine. Lots of MMO and Elder Scrolls fans alike dislike this game for their own reasons. Personally, I love it. It hit a rough beginning with lots of bugs and "bots". But now that those are gone (the bots are all gone, the bugs are at least few and far between), this game is truly just gorgeous. There are obviously some obnoxious people, but I have mostly encountered really cool people that are, like me, just playing to have fun.
If you already have the game, I'd love to add you. You can add me as a friend at (@)lazer150. I play mostly for the Ebonheart Pact (Nords, Argonians, Dark Elves) but I have some characters in the other groups if those are your main areas. I'm in two guilds that I'm sure would love to add you. One is for trading items (I totally don't just use it to make money) and one is kind of a PVP/PVE group that really just kind of talks a lot and has fun. Everyone in both guilds that I've talked to are super friendly.
I'd also love to make a "VWW" guild. Obviously I wouldn't call it Virtual Warrior Cats or something, but I'd love to have a guild with specifically you guys. I'unno what I'd call us, but whatever.
If you didn't already have the game but somehow I've inspired you to give it a look, I totally recommend giving it a chance. I don't know exactly what the prices are for it right now. I know it is on Steam now, again I don't know for how much. There are different bundles it comes in. For example, I bought the Imperial Edition for...a lot...of money, but it was worth it. There are cheaper ones though, but the more expensive bundles come with more items. Also, certain websites (amazon) might sell it cheaper than others.
Anyway, feel free to post your thoughts/feelings for the game, questions about it, or maybe even your experiences for it. I might post some screenshots of my own character/s here later, if I feel like it.
Anyway im done bye
