Not a noise cracked through-out the dark forest . An ominous silence had taken over as the sun fell under the earth . His yellow orbs gleamed as the moonlight struck them . Tiny paws made their way swiftly through the rivers bank . He wasn't exactly sure on where he was headed to , all he knew was that he was on his own now , and had to find a place to stay . Nero was the young ones name , former member of ...ah now what was that packs name ? Who knew , who cared actually . Many left , leaving the pack to disappear , given time .
He had been here and there in such short time . Having to survive on bits of food left behind by past travelers . He had gotten skinny , a lot skinnier . His eyes expressing an empty hollow expression . How long till he'd find another pack ? Would he be alone forever ? Would he turn into one of those ravenous loners ?

Accalia hadn't been in this part of the forest yet. She was so hungry though, she just wanted to find something to eat, and soon. Sighing, the silver wolf picked her way through a small thicket of thorns. Growling slightly as one stuck her, Accalia lifted her nose and scented the air. A familiar scent hit her nose, making her salivate. Food... It had been such a long time since she had eaten. Instinctively dropping into a hunting crouch, the she wolf carefully picked her way through the undergrowth until finally pouncing. Quickly delivering the killing bite, Accalia stepped back to examine her kill. It was a small rabbit. Not too large, but just big enough to feed a couple of Hungary mouths. She was just about to dig in when another scent wafted towards her. It smelled like another wolf. Lifting her head, the she wolf looked around.
"Hello? Is anybody out there?" |

Walking on and on until his little paws finally gave way causing him to come crashing down . He sighed in frustration and gave up . Was he to die here all alone ? What a shame . Then *crack* , a couple twigs snapped to the right side of him . His eyes narrowed as he slowly stood to all fours . Making his way towards the unknown he stopped amongst some tall grass and peered through small blue slits . He saw nothing but darkness . Was he simply imagining the noise ? Impossible he knew what he had heard . Steading himself he crouched low and did probably the craziest and stupidest thing he could have ever done . He charged towards the sound and to his surprise crashed right into an unknown female wolf .
Nero shook his head in confusion and looked up at the tall female . He took a few short steps back and embarrassedly woofed " I ...I'm sorry ..." |

Accalia sighed. I guess no was out here after all... And then an instant later she felt herself fall to the ground. Quickly she regained her footing and turned her green gaze upon another wolf. She opened her mouth to tell him to more cautious when he began to stammer about how sorry he was. Giving a little smile she looked at him. This wolf is just, if not more, hungry than I am. "It's alright. I'm Accalia, and if you want, you could have part of this rabbit that I caught."

Relaxing a bit as he saw that the female was of no harm . " My name is .... Nero ... " He managed to slyly whimper out as she introduced herself . He eyed the rabbit hungrily but forces himself to not take a single bite . Yes the dear was practically famished but it wasnt in his nature to eat before a female . " No , please . You must take it . It will be light out soon , by then i will just hunt for a mouse or something . " He barked with a hint of worry .

Accalia looked over at Nero. "Oh well there's more than enough. Are you sure? It's ok if you would want some." This wolf seemed nice, and even though the rabbit was small, Accalia just wouldn't feel right if she didn't try to offer this other wolf a bite to eat.

Nero looked back over at the rabbit as she offered once more . His mouth watered but he easily pushed his hunger aside . " No , I'm fine . Besides ...Its your catch isn't it ? " He woofed as he nudged the rabbit back to her . His blue eyes studied her carefully . She obviously needed it more than he did . Nero then stood up and turned to leave . He wasn't exactly sure where he was headed to now , but all he knew was that chit chatting here wasnt much progress . " It was nice meeting you Accalia , but now I must be on my way ..." He woofed with a hint of sadness . It wasnnice meeting another wolf who wasn't so crazed .
