White fur dashed across the wiltering meadows . Hard blue eyes scanned the clearing in search of any form of life . Nothing .... Letting out a sigh of frustration she sat down and thumped her tail upon the soft earth , easily losing herself in thought . Wolves were disappearing here and there . Packs were running short on numbers , and food ...food was scarce . If one was lucky enough they'd find a rabbit or two around here . IF they were lucky . Thank the heavens that Ulva had caught a few morsels a while back .
Standing back up the female made her way out of the open and into the enclosed forest . It was very ...bone chilling having to roam around these parts alone. The surroundings all around seemed to be watching her every breath , mocking her every decision . The thought of it made the back of her neck fur stand out in odd directions . She shivered a bit as a cool breeze swept through her white pelt . A week had gone by and she still hasn't caught a single whif of any other wolves . Where on earth waseverybody ? Shaking her head to clear her mind she continued forward on her little journey .
