Pumpkinseed started jumpin up and down Yay! the staff finally remembered ABOUT ONE OF THE BIGGEST EVENTS IN THE ENTIRE WARRIORS SERIES walked into the clearing behind Cloverstar, this was his first gathering since his warrior ceremony had happened during the DeathClan invasion. Squinting his eyes, he attempted to make out the other clans, none were recognizable to him but this was to be expected.

Cloverstar immediately barged in and shoved Pumpkinseed out of the way and off a cliff into a sea of white sharks with mouths full of needles. She then laughed maniacally.
Cloverstar walked in next literally moments after Darkstar, flicking her tail tip a little anxiously. Hopefully, there weren't any bad news around this time. She jumped up onto her spot on the branch, as customary.
"Uh...hello, Darkstar," she greeted, a little awkwardly. "How has FireClan been?"

Spiderleaf padded in with a yawn. She hated long nights. Gatherings should be held at dawn, she believed. The black and white female sat and pouted.

there is a ghost here. the ghost of everything that could have been and never was... Ghostpaw padded a little too eagerly behind Darkstar, impatiently waiting for his leader to walk faster. He tried keeping up his disinterested demeanour (he tried to avoid being some dumb stereotype) but tonight he was struggling to contain his apprentice energy. He was excited, his heart fluttering like a hummingbird's wings, and his muscles wound tight to burst, like he was about to jump around like a small gazelle.
And then the wall of smells hit him square in the face, and he started. He didn't expect anything like what he saw when the bush opened into the massive clearing. Only two Clan leaders had arrived, and out of the few that followed them here, he was amazed. Cats, heaps of them.
Geez they all stunk but... Cats

Rowansky sauntered after Lightfall and the rest of IceClan, her green gaze sweeping across the vast clearing. FireClan and RockClan were already present, and the only ones left to show up was TreeClan. The ginger tabby queen sat down next to a tired-looking she-cat. "Staying up late isn't a strong point, I take it?" she asked, whiskers twitching in amusement.

Rainlight danced into the clearing after Darkstar and trotted into the growing crowd with her eyes bright. I wonder how this gathering's gonna go. And why is TreeClan not here yet? Are they weak? Heheh. Probably. Hopefully. She twitched her whiskers and gave her pelt a shake. Alright, time to mingle. Just have to find someone that's around... She thought, standing in the mix of cats and scanning the crowd.

A presence by her side urged Spiderleaf to lift her head. She quickly examined her new companion before a wry snort of amusement crept out of her throat. "Not at all. I definitely don't prefer it." She purred, nose twitching faintly as she took in the stranger's scent. Iceclan then, and a queen too. "I don't believe we've met before. My name is Spiderleaf. And you?"

Quillfoot padded into the gathering rather slowly, head held high. He was hoping this was another gathering that he could see Firelight at, since he missed his mother terribly after leaving Fireclan. The tom, with his right side bare and covered with burn scars, looked about as if lost, waiting for someone familiar.

Dawnblaze hobbled in after the other cats, her right paw numb with cold. She flopped down beside Spiderleaf, her fellow queen, narrowing her eyes at Rowansky. "Making new friends, I see." She growled warningly to Spiderleaf, flicking her tail irritatedly to Rowansky. "Is it any use reminding you that you belong to RockClan?"

"It's been burning," Darkstar mumbled under her breath in response to Cloverstar.

There was an awkward pause as Cloverstar tried to figure out what to say in response. Burning? Had she heard that correctly? Was that normal? Well, it was probably named FireClan for a reason, but that wasn't the point.
"That's...lovely," she said lightly. She then turned back around to face the slowly filling clearing, straightening her shoulders. She might as well continue trying to look the part of a leader, even if she didn't feel like one at the moment. If she'd had the choice, she'd have preferred to stay in her den and catch up on sleep. Her leg still faintly throbbed with pain after the nasty fall.

there is a ghost here. the ghost of everything that could have been and never was... Ghostpaw watched as a pretty tabby patched she-cat padded delicately towards the leader who stood before him, and he shied away, flattening his ears and tucking his tail between his legs. Submissive as he darted away from the felines of power. He had not recognised Cloverstar, but he could put two-and-two together from what little he had heard. Ghostpaw glanced around, trying to keep a casual demeanour but he could not hide the subtle slouch of his shoulders. Not a single apprentice to be seen. Was he even supposed to be here? It didn't feel like it
He wove between the occasional cat here and there, but he could guess this was a pretty scrappy attendance by Gathering standards. He sat down and craned his neck up to see where the leaders would stand once the Gathering had been called to order. His eyes flittered around, perceiving and absorbing every detail, but that was just to keep his mind occupied. He stood again.
He wanted conversation, and he glanced up at Cloverstar who was not far off. Not a single experienced warrior, queen nor leader was here to talk to apprentices.

Finchpaw could barely contain her excitement. As her Clan began to disperse and mingle, she bounded down the grassy hill in the dark, bright eyes beginning to adjust to the darkness. As they did, she began to make out shapes. Cats. Smells. The smells were terrible, causing her nose to wrinkle. She did her best to ignore it as she searched for any apprentices.
Her heart began to sink as she realized her picking were thin. Well, really, there weren't and picking. She didn't feel comfortable talking to any adults, but it looked like she might have too. Finally, she recognized the smaller and a more undeveloped body of an apprentice. She grinned. Finally! As she neared him, his scent hit her smack in the face, causing her to take a step back. Ew. She thought to herself, recognizing the scent of FireClan.
Smell or not, she stepped up behind him, pausing by his side. She leaned towards him. "Looks like we're the only apprentices here, yeah?" she whispered, a grin growing on her face. "I guess your stuck hanging with me."
