Luna watched in awe as a claw of lightning raked the sky. Thunder rolled in the distance, echoing in her cave. The grey she-cat sat outside her den, under the short rock jutting from next to the waterfall. One question lingered in her mind, how was Rebellion? Luna sighed. She'd ticked him off the last time, but was determined to make it up to him. With a sleek grey pelt, the shecat continued to watch the lightning show, eyes dark.

The dark tabby made his way through the darkness if the storm. Not minding the weather at all. Not the crack of lightning or the thunder or the pelt soaking down his pelt. He padded along aimlessly deep in thought. Unaware of where he was heading. He couldn't catch Luna's scent due to all of the heavy rain so he didn't know she was there

Luna flinched at the sound of another cat. She directed her green gaze at the bushes, eyes narrowing. Suddenly, the dying scent of Rebellion touched her nose.

The Tom sat by the nearby river and watched the water ripple and did form as the raindrops hit its surface. His scarred reflection disorientated with the movements showing only a dark blurr.

Luna saw the dark figure haunched over his paws, staring in the river. With a smirk, the lank she-cat made her way quietly around him. As she approached the witness stand the tom, her eyes lit up. Luna slid in next to him. "Rebellion." She greeted him.

He continued to stare. Not bothering to turn to look at her. Her voice had already been engrained into his mind even if her scent was hidden. "Luna." He replied in kind. He wasnt sure what to think of Luna anymore. Each time their encounters turned south leaving them that much more father apart. He didn't see what of their friendship was left. He felt as if he was talking to a familiar stranger.
His dark amber eyes slid over to the shecat to stare her down from the corner of his eye. "I thought you didn't like storms." He commented tonelessly before returning his gaze to the water. What was he supposed to say to her? Should he even make an effort to talk to her knowing very well how it would turn out?

Luna flicked her ear. "I will be out in a hurricane to be with my friend." She meowed, gaze fixing on the water.

He smirked lightly. "So then, you still count me a friend huh?" He asked dryly. "Look Luna, lets be blunt here. We don't have much of a friendship left." He turned to her. "We've strayed too far to be called friends. I know you've felt the same." He meowed.

Luna gave a sad glare. With a sigh, the she-cat nodded. "Your right. But that still doesn't make it right for us to try and drive a wedge between us."
