I was a unique looking she-cat, for starters, my eyes were not the same, one was lilac purple and the other was forest green' my fur was jet black and decorated with bright ginger tabby markings, and I was small, very, very small, and like my sister, Mintbreeze, my fur stuck out in all different angels, like a hedgehog. Settling down in my nest which was located close to the center of the den, I reflected on how terribly I missed Crypticwolf, my brother. I had two siblings, a sister, Mintbreeze and a brother, Crypticwolf. Mintbreeze became a warrior before both Crypticwolf and myself, training like it was her entire life, she perfected the skill of battle and was like a shadow, however, while she became a warrior, it was only me and my brother, back when he was known as Crypticpaw. I of course was happy when my brother was blessed with the warrior name Crypticwolf, though I still throbbed to join them in the Warriors den. Perhaps I'd get the name Littlewish... or Littlebee. I had yet to decide on what I wanted to be called, however, I let the thought slip away, my name was not my choice. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of movement.. there was another cat in the den. My ginger tipped ears turned to the general direction of the noise and my pupils widened in interest. "Hello?" I asked, my voice was beautiful, sing-song like, gentle, yet raspy and confident. The attractive sound of my voice echoed around the den and I was preparing to raise myself to my dark paws.

She had been staring at the bee or tiger looking cat for a while, believing that she was as scary as her appearance. Even her pelt, with fur flying everywhere, contributed to the "psychotic" appearance. Was this apprentice what would be classified to be hawkbrained?
Curled up in her nest, Barrenpaw hid herself, eyes slightly showing to continue her stare with the creature. She knew that it was bad of her to judge with appearances, but this she-cat really had a weird look to her, and it frightened the mute apprentice a bit.
Shuffling a bit with the moss underneath her, a crinkling sound was made and the stranger seemed to catch onto the sound, looking up. 'Oh foxdung!' she cursed under her breath, realizing that the tabby now knew that someone was in fact, around.
It surprised her a bit, hearing the sweetness in the stranger's voice, having expected a nasty growl or something that was completely off from what she actually heard.

Floodpaw rose her head from her long nap. It was now a few hours since she and her mentor had gone training. She wasn't sure what to think, but boy was it hard. But, she supposed that was what made it more interesting than what most other apprentices were sentenced to. Some half-witted warrior who was chosen to train some equally stupid apprentices only to add more lazy adults to the pile. She wasn't going to complain, while they were out whining and vomiting up words that only those of their own stupidity could understand, Flood would be out committing herself to the world, training and giving her life some sort of meaning that some would never find. The grey she-cat blinked her heavy eyes, the dead color of them almost blocking out any emotion. But Floodpaw was nothing if not emotional. She looked around the camp, cats everywhere dawdling around for no reason obvious to her. Rising to her paw, she made an effort to get to the apprentices' den. Perhaps some poor soul could use the company like she sometimes craved on days like today. She padded uneventfully into the den only to see a new apprentice that she had seen a few times around the camp. The other who was being addressed, was a light ginger she-cat. The other cat she'd seen one was also a she-cat, and an oddly colored one at that. She was a strong mixture of blacks and ambers that made her think of tigers. Not only was her pelt strange, but her eyes. They were two different colors and she couldn't help but be slightly attracted to the oddness of them. She spoke a loud greeting to him. This was when Flood rose to her own paws and decided to show both of them that there was in fact another occupant. Floodpaw was a bluish grey she-cat with brown tabby marks that traveled all around her body, tracing up her spine and down her tail. Her eyes were not quite grey and not quite blue. It could almost be described as that color your eyes went when you died. That cloudy expression cats got when they no longer could hold a conscious. She was a lanky cat without much muscle, but she wasn't tiny or skinny. But, boy was she tall. "Hello." She dipped her head to the two of them followed by a small smirk.

The silver she cat was sleeping on her nest calmly when she twitched her ears with curiosity. She woke up with a big yawn, and saw a weird looking apprentice. Featherpaw wondered what was the name of the she cat,so,flicking her fluffy tail quickly, the silver she cat went on the group's direction The weird she cat looked to be nice. The mute one looked to be a little shy but she could make a good friend. And the gray she cat looked to be friendly "Mmm...Hi!" the silver she cat greeted cheerfuly, hoping that she looked friendly "I'm Featherpaw...nice to meet you all!" the silver she cat said with a Friendly mew

Breezepaw was taking a little nap at the back of the den, waking up to multiple "hellos". Who is it this time? Groggily standing up, the small tom watched from afar in tired, curious eyes. Who was this? Was their fur actually this way, or was he just imagining it as if it were just part of another dream? Was he still sleeping? The feline stabbed his other paw with a claw, somehow holding back a yelp. Yep, he was awake alright. Ouch. He looked around at the cats who had greeted the strange looking feline. There was Featherpaw, Ryepaw's sister, and two others.... Who were they? Breezepaw isn't really an outgoing cat at first, but hey, these cats seemed friendly.
Giving his mottled fur a quick wash the former hostage stood up and padded over to the other cats, staying a little farther back. It was rude to intrude, wasn't it? Clearing his throat, the apprentice dipped his head to Littlepaw as well as the others. "Hello. I hope I'm not interrupting anything." He looked at each cat with a smile. They all looked friendly but you should never judge a book by its cover. Breezepaw stood quietly, having a friendly look on his face. He wanted to be easy to approach. "My name is Breezepaw. Nice to meet you all."

I whipped around, my orange tipped ears pinpointing the exact location of the sound. It was a she-cat I'd only seen a few times before. I'd been an apprentice for quiet some while, probably longer than most in the den, I was the last of my siblings to become a warrior and was unfamiliar with other apprentices because I spent most of my quality time with the warriors, my mentor Thunderflash or my siblings Mintbreeze and Crypticwolf.
My bi-colored orbs slowly opened and closed as I made out the shape of a light creamy colored she-cat, "Oh!" I meowed, my words were smooth like velvet, my voice, still it was much like the delicate sound of a leaf falling to the ground in Leaf-Fall, I was just loud enough to be clearly heard. "I didn't see you there." I grinned before spinning on my heel as a cat entered the den. This was a cat I'd seen before, I recalled her being known as Floodpaw and my one light heather-lilac eye and one fern green eye lit up at the sudden recognition. I grinned and an odd slightly manic expression filling my orbs as I smiled, my brow raised in an arc and my eyes turned a bit into slits, "Greetings Floodpaw."
Next it was silver tabby, I was sure she was Lightningstrike's apprentice, "Hi Featherpaw." I greeted my expression relaxing once again. I was settling down, my striped and dappled tail curling neatly around my paws when my interest was then absorbed my Breezepaw. I was beginning to fen for an escape, a slight claustrophobic feeling knotted itself in the pit of my stomach, my gaze met the tom's and I took a few steps back so my back was securely touching a wall. "Hello.. Breezepaw right?" I said trying to keep myself calm.

It was as if there was a rippling effect with the apprentices' den today, and that made Barrenpaw quite uneasy. All of a sudden, all of these denmates were appearing into her lives. Sure, she seen them before sometimes, but they never spoke to her, and though she knew that they were probably not addressing her, it felt like they were.
The tiger she-cat, Floodpaw, Featherpaw, and Breezepaw. That was a bunch of new names, and she was now marveled of how they were all so social in a way. She caught a bit of their personalities too, but she tried to hide her own, wondering how long it would take them to realize she could not speak.
She did give a nod, and a short smile to each cat though. Manners that Applefall taught.

Featherpaw sat down calmly on the apprentice's den ground. She started to flick her fluffy tail calmly when she noticed that Barrenpaw wasn't talking at all. The silver she cat wondered if Barrenpaw was really shy or if she really couldn't talk at all. Featherpaw didn't know what to say exactly, what should she do? Maybe if she asked something like are you mute or something? it would be kind of rude so she tried to be polite with the she cat "Mmmm...Sorry to ask,Are you alright?" Featherpaw meowed politely, hoping that this question wouldn't bother the she cat

After her own arrival, two more suddenly appeared. One was a silver female; she was sporting a thick coat with darker shades of grey that concentrated more towards the spine and tail. The other was a mottled tom who seemed polite enough. 5 apprentices, it was starting to get a little cramped, but this was certainly different than her usual lonely enviornment. It was nice, to be surrounded by willing minds. "My name is Floodpaw." She announced to the few of them who didn't know her. Pleasure to meet you, Featherpaw, Breezepaw." She smiled warmly enough and scooted a bit away to make more room for them all the fit comfortably. I looked between the other two apprentices, the ginger cat being someone I was not familiar with. This cat didn't say her name either so it was more of a waiting game. The grey tabby turned towards the other two, "How might your training be going? There's a fresh batch of apprentices so I'm not entirely sure it'll be an 'easy win' if you know what I mean. I've already got to share my own mentor."

My breathing sped up as clausterphobia began to flood into my senses I however dismissed the feeling, my gaze bouncing from cat to cat. There was Barrenpaw, a light colored she-cat who I was positive was mute, at least that was what my brother told me, the second cat, Floodpaw was a gray and brown tabby, and then there was Featherpaw, Lightningstrike's apprentice, she was a sliver she-cat. There were many cats and one last face to look over, to my side was Breezepaw, a dark tom who had my sister, Mintbreeze as his mentor.
Now that I was sure I recognized everyone in the den, I decided perhaps it was time to introduce myself. I looked around, my bi-colored orbs quizzical for a moment, my pair of blue and green were tinted with a pale lilac violet. "Salutations to all of you," there was a pause, my voice was still incredibly sweet like honeysuckle, and even was compelling in a way. "I'm Littlepaw." I grinned, and it made since I was a tiny she-cat the frame of my spiky coat that was much like my sisters, caused me to look a bit larger than I was. I licked my ebony chest, my blood-orange ears pricked for any noise.
