Hades carefully made his way across the swamp. Looking overhead, he saw that a storm was brewing. Hades shrugged, the rain never bothered him, anyways. He quickly ran up tree, and balanced on a branch. Hades was unaware of the presence of another cat, though. He just sat there watching as rain began to pour down on him.

Nightmare coldly gazed at the storm overhead, it didn't worry her, she had her little stone cave to wait out the storm in. She padded around the swamp and looked around at the twisted, moldy trees and mushy mushrooms. This wasn't her favorite place, if anything it was her least favorite. She spotted another cat high on a tree branch, a black tom. Nightmare didn't talk to a lot of cats, but today she was in the mood. She went over under the crooked moss tree and looked up. "Hey." She meowed her furry tail curling out and in.

Hades heard the voice and looked down. Hades wasn't a very friendly cat, and he thought he was better than everyone. But this time was the different. He shot the she-cat a grin. "What do you want, hot-stuff?" He said, in a seductive tone. He ran down the tree and started to circle the she-cat. He let out a purr.

Nightmare felt weird, her blood began to get hot and pumping, she didn't know why though. Hot stuff. Wow, just wow. She stretched out her sleek black body and still stared up at the tom with her deep blue eyes. "Nothing, just getting out of the rain." She replied looking over her shoulder to see the storm begin to start, so she was stuck here with this other cat. She stepped to the tree and began to climb up the crooked mossy trunk.

Hades climbed the tree after her, and when he was at the top branch, the rain began to pour more heavily. He decided to have a conversation with the cat. "So, pretty kitty, when did you arrive in DeathClan?" He questioned, an accidental purr slipping out. He looked down at the ground. The water seemed to make the swamp overflow with water. Hades wasn't one for swimming, though. He turned back to Nightmare and just looked at her. The she-cat was beautiful, in Hades' opinion.

Nightmare looked down at Hades and saw him climbing up after her, when she heard 'pretty kitty' she got hot, she looked back up and climbed onto the nearest branch. Now that she looked at the tom, they looked a bit alike. She was lighter than him but they where two dark colored cats with blue eyes, she liked that in a weird way. He looks a lot like Jude... Nightmare shook the thought away and lied across a branch belly up. "Oh just recently," She meowed looking at Hades right above her "What about you?"

Hades looked at Nightmare from his branch. "I also, arrived recently." He told the she-cat. He jumped down to the branch Nightmare was on and sat down. "I don't believe I have introduced myself. Well, here's a little about me. I can lie in the snow 100 years and not freeze, I can drink a river of blood and not burst." He paused. "I, am Hades." |

Nightmare tilted her head back and looked at Hades upside down. Hades, strange name. Sounds cool though. She gazed at him then meowed "Great story, I'm Nightmare." She rolled over with her fur still perfect on the back "I don't have epic super-powers like you but I think I'll fit in."

"Nightmare, eh? I think I'll stick with hot-stuff." He meowed. He looked up, watching as the rain slowly started to stop, and then fully stopped. He walked up to Nightmare, purring. He walked over to her and laid down next to her. After a while, the stars came out, and the moon went away. Hades, then fell asleep.

Nightmare was never shy of strangers, so just let Hades snuggle right up to her. Hot-stuff. Better get used to that. She purred right back to him and heard the rain stop. She could just leave, but she didn't really want to. She felt so comfortable and warm she started to fall asleep too. Nightmare's eyes closed and she began to dream about butterflies and rainbows, which was funny, because ever since the accident happened, she had nightmares.

When Hades awoke, he was snuggled next to Nightmare, who apparently didn't leave during the night. He poked her in the flank with his muzzle, hoping to awaken her. "Nightmare, Nightmare." He whispered. He thought of the night before, and when he met her. He kept thinking about her, when he finally realized, he had a crush on her.

Nightmare felt someone poking her, she didn't like being woken up when she was having a good dream, or at all really. "Five more minutes..." She mumbled rolling over the edge of the branch "What time- OHSWEETDARKPOOL" She clung upside down on the branch and looked at him. "Um, hi." She mewed embarrassed that he saw her flip out

"N-no I'm fine." She meowed a little shakily and righted herself on the branch. She looked at Hades, and felt a weird sense of warmness, she liked him. She shook her head and mewed "Well since the rain has stopped... I guess I can move along. But I don't really have anywhere to go." Half of that was true, she DID have a den but she wanted to stay with Hades for a bit longer.
