Sandstep was so embarrassed as she walked into camp with thorns on her front right paw and left shoulder along with a few scrapes. What the heck? How did I do this? She thought to herself recalling she had managed to fall into a bush being distracted by an unusual looking butterfly. The pale she cat hadn't seen one before and tried to catch it but it flew higher and higher so she raced up a tree trying to get it but she fell out of it and into a bush. I'm an idiot. "Miss Forestbreak? Miss Clovepetal?" She called, wondering who she would meet today.
(Just a thorn in her front right paw and one in her left shoulder. Her biggest cut would be across the back of her left ear.)

Clovepetal's ears swiveled in the direction of the call. Hmm, Miss, she thought to herself with a chuckle. Oh wait, she thought seriously, that probably means that someone was injured. She quickly padded around the corner of her den. The russet she-cat was thankful that there had been a minimal amount of injuries for almost the entire moon-cycle, which meant that there were no long-term patients in her den. However, there was one she-cat that, for the most part, looked to be in a stable condition. "What seems to be the problem?" the Head Medicine Cat asked straightforwardly.

Sandstep said, "I maybe fell into a bush... Anyway I have two thorns. One on my left shoulder and one on my right paw pad. Then a cut on the back of my left ear." She wondered what the medicine cat thought about why she did that. Who knows? But all Sandstep could think about was the way she had managed to fall into the bush while hunting...

Clovepetal silently accepted the information with a nod. "A bush, huh? I see. Well, I'll go ahead and take care of the thorns now, but my main concern is that ear, there," the Medicine cat said analytically. "Here, just come have a seat in this nest here, and I'll take care of everything else!" Once she escorted the injured warrior to her rest, the russet she-cat quickly padded to her supply stock to gather the ingredients necessary to remedy the younger she-cat's impediments. As her amber eyes scanned over her stored healing articles, she made quick work of spotting the cobwebs and dock. She gathered both at once, but quickly made the decision to put back half of the dock leaves she had taken. It'll be Leafbare sooner than we know, she thought. Might not want to waste any stores on something as simple as a cut. "So, wanna give me the whole story on this bush incident?" Clovepetal asked, speaking around the ingredients clamped in her jaws, as she made her way back into the main area of the den.

Sandstep was embarrassed but grateful that the medicine cat could help her. So she went over to where the she cat had guided her, sitting down in the nest. "Um... Well that's a funny story actually. Haha." She let out a weak chuckle with embarrassment written all over it. "I was out and spotted a butterfly, beginning to follow it around like a kit. I don't know what came over me but I climbed up a tree trying to reach it.... Yet I slipped and fell into a bush that cushioned my fall bellow." Sandstep didn't even want to mention the butterfly and should have said it was a cat or something.. But that would only rise suspicion which wasn't needed. She thought to herself for a moment. At least it was a pretty butterfly... That's a good thing right?
