Drought paced restlessly in the main clearing. It had been too long since he'd gotten into a good sparring session. The problem was that most of his Clan had turned into a bunch of pansies; he never saw them practicing their combat skills amongst themselves. So, claws itching to be put to use, the leader leaped up onto the rotting tree stump from which he usually made announcements. He sat down and glanced around expectantly. If no one turned up soon, well... perhaps he'd have to go to TreeClan and fight a border patrol or something.

Vale happened to show up at this point. He spotted Drought sitting on the tree stump he cocked his head and padded over. "Aye, hello Drought. Whatcha up to?" He flicked his tail and looked up at his leader. "Been quite some time since I last saw you. When was the last time anyway?" He tried to recall, it had surely been a while. "Been doing well?" He inquired.
He knew Drought had been having a hard time before with the whole failure of the control over all Clans and such. The last they had spoke he didn't seem alright. It was when he had called Badger, Holly, Thicket and Vale together.
"My life has been rather dull."

"Ah, Vale. Good to see you," meowed the leader a bit absently as he flexed his claws into the rotten tree stump. "I'm fine, but I could do with a bit of excitement." Drought still couldn't get Lyric out of his mind, which was probably what had caused him to get all worked up in the first place.
He leaped down from his perch and began to circle his relative. "How about we do a little sparring?" Without waiting for the blue-grey tom to answer, he leaped and attempted to tackle Vale.

"Good to see you as well. It has been some time, I'd imagine." His ears twitched when the leader mentioned excitement. "Oh?" He cocked his head, clearly intrigued by the statement. "What were you de-" He heard him mention sparring and his claws flexed. "I haven't gotten my claws dirty since that pathetic quee-" His eyes narrowed and he watched as the leader made a move.
"How rude of you not to wait for my answer." He grinned. Of course he was joking, who waited for a yes in DeathClan? As risky as it might of been the tomcat just decided to tackle him right back. At this point yeah he'd probably just end up hurting himself too because they'd most likely just collide buuut it was Vale.

Drought returned the grin as he rushed towards Vale; the two collided hard. Grunting slightly, the leader rolled with the impact before leaping back to his paws. "What can I say? I'm an impatient cat," he purred. Then he was moving again, hoping to catch the blue-grey tom before he could recover from the collision. He reared back and swiped at Vale's head with both forepaws - claws sheathed, but just barely. He knew that his attacks would still be strong enough to stun if they connected.
