a shiver struck my body like the quickest lightning I'd ever seen and I jolted awake with panic stricken eyes. How long had I been asleep? It felt so immense it caused me a great... sadness I guess. I'd never felt this cold before, I don't know what it was but it frightened me. Then, things began to flood my mind. All I could really think about was Greenflare, he's was the one I've always had around in my mind and he never did cease to pester my thoughts. I started to breathe heavily now, the cool breeze against my whiskers caused a numbing feeling on my nose and ear tips, I didn't mind it all the much, but what I did mind was the nagging feeling of uncertainty and confusion.

As the tom whose pelt resembled the sun began to stir into consciousness, his eyes were instinctively forced to open as a sent that's been missing from his nose suddenly sneaked up on him. His eyes, they were a liquid topaz, still sleepy and drowsy from his nap, his golden fur was mostly groomed, however a few hairs on the top of his head poked up in an almost attractive fashion. Loneblaze nearly jumped to his paws but was only able to maintain a sitting position, his body was still numb from his escape into his mind. "Speckledleaf?" He dared to question, his musical voice just as compelling as always as it professionally rolled off his tongue.
