Hailsong smiled and leaped into the warrior's den. Her friend, Rabbitpaw, had her ceremony and is now Rabbitleap and her crush, Rainpaw became Rainspirit. It was so exciting, Hailsong could barely process it! Her kithood friends were now her warrior friends, except for one. Her mentor, Darkpool, didn't have to train her, not the she didn't like it. She could now do everything herself! Hailsong was extremely excited for her first patrol! But before all that, she had to know what it's like living in the warrior's den... |

As she slept soundly in the warrior den she head small scuffling and she twitched her ears in irritation she had been guarding the camp entrance all night and it had been a long one. she heard another sound then a small snap and that had done it she opened her icy eyes and growled softly "Can't any cat get some sleep around here" she sat up and blinked the fuzziness from her gaze to only see a smaller she-cat and she immediately lightened up "Well hello there, you must be hailsong I head the named of many new warriors you must be so proud! she shook her shinny pelt and met the she-cats green and summery eyes she seemed to glow with happiness "Have you chosen a nest yet?"

Hailsong purred at the happiness of the warrior. She was bigger that Hailsong but this cat was from Icenclan, obviously this cat meant no harm. "Yes," she mewed happily. "I'm Hailsong, and you are?" |

amusement lit up her now warm snowy optics . as she arranged her tail to neatly wrap around her paws she then smiled with much warmth "Well It's nice to meet you HailSong" she nodded with a cheerful expression she then answered with a smooth and silky voice "I'm RiverShade" she said with a hint of purr she was glad to meet some one new. she then asked "How do you like being a warrior?"

she grinned sweetly as the young warrior spoke of the long and well.... very boring vigil she purred with amusement. but nodded "Well you must be tired" she thought back to her long night of vigil and well she was stiff and exosted she then flicked her tail twardes to a nest close to her own and smiled "This one is not being used if you would like to claim this one" she smiled and her eyes showed with her bright mood.

she smiled warmly "My mother is Lightfall, and well I never new my father he died in a battle... thats all she would tell me" she looked away for a moment trying to leave the threatening tears that were almost out.. but she held them.. "and you who is your mother, and father"? she licked her chest for a moment to hide he overwheming emotions then it was gone and she was able to look up with a smile once again "I have heard of you and ..... RainSpirit was it... He is a lucky tom" she purred a little but after amoment it died out with an akwared expretion on her face she then waited to see if she had gotten his mant right.

Hailsong did the closest thing to blushing in the cat world. She nodded with flattery. "Yes, I guess Rainspirit is lucky to have me. Anyway, my mother is Mothbriar. I have absolutely no idea who my father is." |

she nodded "well I can see you have a deep fondness for him, I would like to meet him one of these days considering we are den mates now" she purred as she heard that name "aw, MothBrair she was a mother to me she was so sweat and kind but don't get me wrong she had gotten after me a few times I can't belive I was such a big truble maker" she purred with amusment and nodded "Thats ussualy normal, most kits don't ever lean and I still don't so I guess I with you on that"

she looked at the ground as she felt another round of tears coming she shook her head and whimpered softly "No not any more" she did not meet the young warriors gaze. she had alwasy wanted the one tom in her life to have a mate. but no it was just not her destiny... all her hopes and dreams have seemed to disapear and well she had never had one great out come of anything. No Father, he Best friend left there clan to go to another, he other Besty died in a battle... and her once beloved left her for another shelooked up at HailSong and whispered "No I don't have a mate" she said bitterly but their was longing in her ocean like optics

Hailsong awkwardly shifted her weight. "Umm... Ok" Hailsong had no reason to run away. This cat was in her clan, Rivershade can't attack her! |

she elt bad as she read the young warriors expression she had not ment to offend or scare anyone she simply did not like to speak of the past it was a sad and hard time for her she then lowered her head slightly and murmered " Im sorry, I....." she trailed of f as it seemed to get a little ackwared for her as well and she added " He is one luck to have gotten you" she smiled slightly knowing it would still be a little strange around her until she was forgiven for her out brake.
