Shiverpaw was happy for his best friend and crush Rabbitleap, who had just become a warrior. However, that had left him quite friendless. He really didn't know the other apprentices, and his stutter always held him back. He felt quite lonely and wished for Rabbitpaw- No, she was Rabbitleap now.
He sighed, and crept over to the entrance of the apprentice den. Seeing nocat outside, he rolled back over to his nest. He could hardly wait until he became a warrior. Then he'd be with Rabbitleap and maybe she'd let him be her mate! As for now, however, he was stuck in the apprentice den friendless.
"I would like to befriend somebody s-s-s-soon," he muttered aloud.
