CrowwingCherryheart slept alone in her nest. She stayed as far away as she could to her other Clanmates. Yes, she missed the comfort of Crowwing, she just tried to hide it. She began to whimper of loneliness.

Coming back into the warriors' den after playing around in the prairie, the tom was exhausted, and slipped into the center of the den, where the seniors usually stayed.
He thought that he heard a soft cry from somewhere near him, and looking around, he saw the she-cat who was once his mate. Cherryheart. And was she? He saw that she was alone, and made his way over to her.
"Hey, Cherryheart." he whispered.

It took a few moments for Crowwing's words to go through her mind. She turned her head and put on a faint smile. "Hey, Crow" she said almost silently. She had to admit that getting old was never her plan in life. It was easier to get sick and somewhat easier to think of a way to make it look like the one who controled her had muse and hunting was somewhat harder. She had stiff bones and her ears where going faint, as in harder to hear things.
Cherryheart looked down. She was loosing faith in herself.

He frowned, catching onto the tone of her voice. Something was definitely wrong, but what? He knew that once they ended their relationship, things weren't as close between them, but that's how things worked, right?
He gently swooped his front paw underneath her chin, raising her head up a bit until she was somewhat in his range. "Are you alright? You seem. . . different."

Cherryheart looked up. She slowly shook her head. "I'm getting old Crow. Things aren't as they where before. Everyone I know is gone, cats are dieing with a blink of an eye, new groups are forming and taking over. CloudClan is changing. The Clans are changing. I'm changing. Everything I once knew was blown out of the water and gone!" She cried, tears running down her soft gray and white face.

The honesty and seriousness of her voice. It hurt him. She was getting old, but so was he. It was worse for her though, hardly having anyone left in the clan.
"We'll get through this." He promised. "Heck, you even survived moons out of the clan! What do you mean that Cloudclan is changing though?"
He sat down, rubbing his paws along her tearline, trying to dry up her fur. A sad sight to see.

Cherryheart whimpered. "CloudClan, its just changing fates of many cats. An apprentice from our Clan died a few days ago Crowwing. I miss life how it was before. Where everyone was alive, everyone was happy, no one was dead."
Crowwing's words raced through her blank mind. We'll get through this. She wished everything was different. She hesitated for a moment, "I just don't know where I belong anymore Crowwing"
She was haunted by the past. Losing two cats she loved. It was the hard and honest truth. (Holy god where did this muse come from??)

He nodded, hearing the word of one of the she-cats falling in battle with some band of cats. Was it some new Deathclan? He did not know.
"We all have to die sometime, Cherryheart. The apprentice fought with honor, and that is what being a warrior is all about. Yes, it was a young death, but she had the heart of a warrior. Cloudclan should be honored to have her in their ranks."
'I just don't know where I belong anymore Crowwing.' He closed his eyes, not really knowing what to say. "You could ask Darkstar for an apprentice. I'll help you if you need any. The earlier you go back to your duties, the sooner you'll fall back into place."

Her ears twitched in silence. Cherryheart looked to her ex-mate. He was right. She turned her head and scratched behind her ear. "Crow, you always know what to say, at the right time too. Maybe your right. I need to get back on all four paws. I'm going to need your support Crowwing"
She fell silent.

He smiled, getting back onto his feet. "Well, let's head out and do something. Staying in here all day won't solve much."

Cherryheart sighed. "Uh, I dunno, hunting prehaps?" She suggested. It's not going to be easy for me. But I guess voles and mice will easy. She yawned and nodded

He shrugged. "Sure. You ready to go?" he asked, making his way back to the den entrance. Funny. He was just barely outdoors.
