Today seemed to be another one of those days. A time for eating, sleeping, and probably not much else.
Koisplash exhaled, rolling over in her nest. She glanced briefly out to the entrance, watching the sunlight stream in. It'd be around this time that warriors would be taking their apprentices out to train, some getting their final assessments. For a moment, nostalgia washed over her as she recalled when she'd been Koipaw. So hopeful and naive, not as worldlier than when she'd been a kit as she'd tried to be.
Later on, the apprentices would also have to come in to clean and pick out ticks. Not that she had any.
But for now, maybe some others would visit. Kits looking for a story, perhaps. It'd been a while since she'd talked at length about anything, whether it was persuasion or a speech or a ceremony, but it wouldn't hurt. It'd be something to do.

Duskpaw trotted out of the apprentices' den and poked her head inside the elders' den. "Hi!" she meowed cheerfully to the elders. "How are you today?" She paused, not wanting to intrude. "I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the 'Great Fire'. This is my friend, Rainpaw." She motioned for Rainpaw to come in.

She'd had a tiring day, the small spiky furred apprentice gulped in a large breath of air before picking up a stick covered in mouse bile and beginning her expedite into the elders den. The black and orange calico was a bit shocked as she nearly bumped into Duskpaw who was foolishly blocking the entrance. "S'cuse me." I muttered through the twig in my jaws. After I was further into the den I grinned as I spotted a green eyed calico, her name was Koisplash. Cheerfully, after I set the bile down, I said,"Hi Koisplash! How's your day been?" Littlepaw was sweet and respectful, and a small beam stretched over her mouth just barely showing her snow white teeth. "Do you need help with any ticks?" Asked the apprentice, she wanted to stay in the den, to be there with one of the older cats of the clan, it was like she could feel all the generations they lived in the den, and the tiny she-cat couldn't help but hope for a story.
