( Morningflare Sunblaze) Soldier limped into the medicine cats den after talking to Cloverstar. There were clumps of matted down fur on her belly and near her spine. She looked around and groaned out loud. Her belly was clawed up and a large chunk of skin was missing near her back. Her blue eyes were clouded with pain as she stood in the denway, favoring her right back leg which was bitten up and looked bent into the wrong way. It was probably out of place now. "Um.. is anyone around..?" She called out weakly. She smelled rank. Like death and blood. Perhaps she'd gotten in way over her head this time. The she cat groaned again and started shaking again. Probably from shock of her displaced leg.

The smell of blood alerted Sunblaze, and the sense of pain from one of her clan mates drove her to her paws clumsily. Once she reached soldier she realized something, this cat would not be making jokes like most other wounded cats that came through her den. Her facial expression dropped. She was not going to be poking fun at the injuries like usual. "whats happened..?" She was worried what the warrior would say.

Soldier winced at the expression of the medicine cat. This wasn't going to be a good kind of visit would it. She looked at the she-cat and started to sit down but her legs collapsed underneath her and she groaned as her back leg hit the ground. She looked up at Sunblaze with pain filled blue eyes.
"Ravens. They fought Dapplecloud, Bluepaw and I. Dapplecloud was fighting a she-cat named Mirage, and she dealt some heavy blows upon Dapplecloud. I was paired with a tom, Leighton. He was stronger then he looked. Bluepaw.. she was against the leader of the Ravens. Cinder. She didn't make it to the end of the fight. Her vigil is tonight." She told Sunblaze softly.

Entering the den shortly after Soldier, I caught a snatch of the conversation, which spoke about our own injuries and Bluepaw, and I winced at the mentioning of her death. But now that the shock of how the rogues would mercilessly kill was wearing off, I had recovered slightly from my grief. "Soldier's right. Although you've got a pretty bad wound on your stomach there," I said, nodding at the red that stained her belly fur. I too, felt the pain from the air hit my wounds, but instead I sat and didn't talk about my own quite yet, although I had to keep my left hind leg outstretched slightly to prevent any pressure on it.

Sunblaze spat insults to herself about the cats that attacked her clan mates. When she heard that someone didn't make it through the fight, an apprentice none the less, any spirit she had left in her eyes disapeared. Poof. Gone. Just like that. "I see." Without another word she acessed the two cats and quickly went to gather the right herbs. When she came back she dropped the bundle of herbs on the ground and quietly asked "Could you please lay on the side with the least injuries?" Pointing to the two moss beds that lay beside each other with her tail then looking back at the two injuried cats.

"Of course Sunblaze." She meowed softly.
Soldier hesitated and then limped over to a moss bed then slowly lay down, her injured leg on top. She groaned but lay still, looking at Sunblaze and Dapplecloud.

Nodding my dappled head, I too, limped over to a bed of moss. I contemplated both sides of myself. The deep wound in the back of my head was toward my right, but my leg was slashed and I had been limping on my left. I settled myself on the side that had the scar on my head, and looked up at Sunblaze. "Thank you, Sunblaze, by the way."

She wanted to lighten the situation in anyway possible so said the first thing that came to mind. "You don't have to thank me, I'm just doing my job. Anyway, Cloverstar would stop paying me in all the rabbits I could eat if I didn't help out." She gave each cat a poppy seed to numb the pain while she decided which to start on.

Soldier took a poppy seed and hoped that it would numb her pain. She looked over at Dapplecloud tiredly, wanting ti close her eyes but she fought the urge. Her eyelids drooped in response of her fighting. She looked up at Sunblaze, yawning.
"Perhaps sleep would help this out." She meowed softly

"Yes, should fall asleep into a relaxing sleep with no dreams...So try." She began sorting herbs and chewing the ones that needed to be chewed. She dipped some moss in water and started dabbing blood off soldier.
(no muse today.)

(late reply, obviously, sorry for my slight inactivity .3.)
Licking up the small black poppy seed, I felt my eyelids flicker as the effects started to take place. "Yes, should be a relaxing sleep with no dreams... So try." I heard Sunblaze say. The slight numbness of sleep started to overcome my limbs, and I could feel my vision growing slightly dark. While I didn't say anything, I thought: Yes, sleep would probably help these wounds... But I wasn't completely asleep yet, and I watched Sunblaze work on Soldier with slight drowsiness.
