Dapplecloud Talonfang padded into the Warriors' Den, the air outside was a bit chilly, so he was more than happy to be able to come into the warm den. He let out a sigh of satisfaction as he the warmth practically soak into his fur. Once he felt heated up he glanced back outside, he had already hunted and eaten for the day so he could probably linger around for a while... He whipped his head away from the enter acne to scan the rest of the den to see if anyone was awake that he could socialize with. Most cats were asleep and he was about to give up when he saw another cat that appeared to be awake. Cautiously, he padded over, making sure he was quiet enough not to disturb anyone as he went. "Hello?" He whispered, keeping his voice low in case the cat was actually asleep. If they were asleep the last thing he would want to do would be to wake them. From personal experience he knew getting woken up in the middle of a slumber usually made him a bit grouchy and poor-tempered.

Having been drowsing, not fully asleep, just half-asleep, it still wasn't too nice to be back to the waking world in such a sudden manner. I turned my head around to see a gray-and-white warrior, Talonfang. Then I winced. My wounds, even though they were covered, still stung horribly in reminder of the gruesome battle with the Ravens. "Hello," I said casually to the warrior. "Glad to see there's another cat awake in here: I was about to fall asleep myself." I got up, turning myself, then sitting down, trying to not be self-conscious about the cobwebs plastered on my fur. But I pushed the thought away. This was another Clanmate, plain and simple, it wasn't like I was going to talk with a stranger.

Talonfang tried not to visibly wince when he noticed that she had been partially asleep when he had spoke. He watched her wince as she turned to gaze at him, which drew his eyes to the cobwebs on her fur. He shook his head, it would be rude to stare, plus he was sure she wouldn't want the attention focused on her wounds. He perked when she spoke, happy to see that she wasn't too angry at him for bothering her.
"Oh, I'm sorry if I bothered you, I could leave if you'd like..." He mewed hesitantly, silently hoping she would tell him it was fine and not to worry about it. But then the she-cat stood up and sat down facing him. He immediately wished he hadn't asked if he could leave because he didn't want to create any tension if she said it was alright.

"No, it's perfectly fine. It'd be good to talk to someone. It can be boring just listening to your Clanmates snoring. They're your Clanmates, but it's never fun to listen to them just snore." I said humourously. I made a mental note not to draw attention to my wounds again. Both tension and awkwardness could be avoided with the right words.
