@duncan The new beta female, Lagoon, stalked around the new territory. Her muzzle was kept low so she could take in the new sent. She breathed in, slight boredom was causing her exploration. Her long, fluffed, banner whipped behind her, drawing the dust into air- making it slightly hard to breath in. She continued on her way - she was of a strong role now.
She she must have settled early, she wound up awakening outside the newly made camp. She was used to pack life, being a beta. However, the last pack she was in fell apart- and the only reason of her being a beta was that the alpha female was a close friend. Her other role was as an alpha, but no one joined except Killer. The only true time she was in a long lasting pack was when she was a Low ranked omega. A snarl curled on her face. She hated being seen as low ranked.

Lagoon
Duncan swished his tail, the red mottled alpha standing tall over his newly formed pack. He had his alpha mate, Cry, his two betas, Lagoon and Boo Radley, who were basically another mated pair, and his two co-alphas, Fire's Rain and Katniss. He knew his two co-alphas acted like wolves in heat, but he decided it wouldn't be smart to tell them off. His black nose caught scent of his beta female and he smiled. Perhaps it would be nice to meet his beta female. Perhaps she could shed a light on the subject.
Duncan trotted over to the white female and brushed against her. His natural instinct was to make her submit to him and lick at his jaw for forgiveness. But she had never done anything wrong, so there was no point. So instead as he brushed her side, and brushed his muzzle on her shoulder. He swished his tail and stood next to her. He was nearly as tall as Lagoon but was about a paw-length too short. His face smiled at her and his amber eyes light up in happiness.
"Wonderful weather. I hear the creek is flowing well despite the frost." Duncan said with a smile.
He swished his tail and tried to seem as seemingly non-harmful as possible. It could be interesting if he tried to make her submit right there. It would be cruel if anything.

@duncan
She was relieved by the kindness reflecting in the alpha's voice. It made her settle down comfortably in the soft layers of grass. She grinned and nodded, "Yes, however frost can and most likely will freeze over into ice at one point," she mentioned. "However. I believe that since your new pack is. functional, we shall speak of something more settling than a water source freezing. over in the winter's weather." She perked up the slightest bit, the pack was functional. She had a home, and hoped to stay put.
"How is everything going?" She asked, her jade pools glistening in the light which was now peeking through the trees. "I am quite shocked at your age you can handle a newly grown pack. Not even I could handle a pack with less then four members, but that might just me my poor leadership," she let out a small chuckle. She was never quite the leader, better with the lower ranks - however she never liked being weak so beta was just her position. She however felt strangely displaced, she felt as if pack life might not suit her as much as she had hoped. But what was done was done, she would learn to like it - learn to help out leading this new pack. She grinned.
Sat back, and a thought crossed her mind. she was beta female, and certainly a male has come to take the role as the other beta. She breathed out sharply as she had not realized before that she would be mated into position. Killer would hate her for her decisions, she couldn't stand how he would react.. "And your beta male.." She murmured softly, she hadn't wanted to seem strange around her new leader but she honestly had no intention in breaking Killer's soft heart. It would be just another death to clean up and another story to cover. "He went by., Boo Radley.. Correct? What a strange yet interesting naming," she spit out. She couldn't help but feeling as if she was messing up her first impression on the alpha, somehow she hadn't felt settled with her own words.

I'VE LEARNED TO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE IMPOSSIBLE THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS HOPELESS IF YOU BELIEVE WORD COUNT MINNIE OF GS | Duncan nodded his head as he looked around the territory. He has certainly done a good job of picking out a territory for his new pack. And indeed she was right, it would be a cold winter with the frozen river but hopefully it would turn out alright. The sharp scent of winter stung his nose, a sure sign of winter stewing up a good storm. He looked over at his beta and snorted at her unsureness of Boo Radley. There was something the she-wolf was hiding. Perhaps something going on with Boo Radley? He hoped for the best before sitting down in the grass beside her.
"Everything is going great. We're slowly growing larger. Cry, Boo Radley, Katniss, and Fire's Rain are sure interesting characters. I haven't seen them around much. Anyway, how are you?" He replied.
The red mottled wolf licked her head and laughed softly. Boo Radley was certainly a wierd name but so was Fire's Rain. There wasn't much he could do about it but he just wished he knew what to do and how to take charge. He shrugged at his own thoughts and looked down at the white wolf beside him, |
