( Halp me Crowwing ) Silverwhisker padded in, then plopped to her side, trying to lick the blood off her stomach, seeing it was getting slightly drier. "Hello, and medic around?" the tabby asked, sitting up, wincing in pain. She hissed quietly, I was so vulnerable.. (Some apprentice didn't listen and kept his claws unsheathed while practicing the 'belly rake')

Blood. The smell entered his nose, causing a wrinkle. Crowwing saw that Silverfeather had blood - dried - on her stomach, and it looked pretty bad, reminding him of hunting a rabbit.
Goldenrod and cobwebs were what he needed, and he came to the tabby with the herbs, creating a poultice from the flowers.
"Want to explain what happened?" he asked, muffled by the pulp in his mouth.

Silverwhisker spotted the black and white medicine cat walk over, mixing the herbs, which she knew nothing about. "Well, I went out training with Maggotpaw, and taught him a few basic moves. I taught him the belly rake, and told him to try it on me, and I clearly said 'claws sheathed', yet he teared open my stomach.." the tabby explained, a flick of her ears as her eyes and nose were glazed with pain.

Hearing Silverwhisker's report, he snorted, examining the wound with his good eye. As she was speaking, he started to spread the medication onto her, cold but warm at the same time, wrinkling his nose at the smell of what was happening. Was goldenrod supposed to smell like this? Clovepetal just taught him the basics, not telling him about the after effects, but assumed this was the smell.
As the poultice started to harden onto the cat's wound like a cast, he smiled. Yes, this was working out just fine. "It seems like Maggotpaw needs some lessons in discipline." Wasn't it already bad enough that the younger cats were acting like they owned the clan? Where was the respect for the older cats nowadays?
He saw her expression and started to feel bad for her. A cat did not deserve to feel like this. "You're doing fine, Silverwhisker. I'll just need you to stay still while I patch you back up."

Silverwhisker relaxed but wondered how she was going to make Maggotpaw have knowledge. "Should I try to be less of a playful kind mentor? And try to be a slight bit harsh on him? He's been slightly distracted as well," she said, blinking. As he finished speaking, Silverwhisker nodded, I sure don't feel like moving anyway, she thought, looking around. She felt safe being fixed up by the medicine cat, even though he recently learned about the herbs.

Crowwing frowned at the questions she asked him about her apprentice. To become a harsher mentor? Now that would only cause Maggotpaw to think she was just playing. He began to dab the cobwebs around Silverwhisker's belly, then patching it together, keeping the poultice in place.
"I don't think you should be training him for at least a week in the condition that you are currently in." he directed. "Sudden activities would only cause the binding to fall off, opening the wound for infection again. I think that you just have to speak to Maggotpaw about his behavior, and if he misbehaves once more, then I would suggest you to address your mentorship to Darkstar."

Feeling the herbs and cobwebs placed neatly on her stomach, she tensed slightly with the pain. The tabby nodded, "Well fine then, so just a few weeks until I recover?" she asked. The she-cat then yawned, also guessing a small rest after would do her well.

remember to tell Maggotpaw in a pm that you won't be able to train for a week since the medicine cat rule is that you're supposed to wait a week before your cat can be roleplayed normally again. that way he won't be pm'ing another warrior for training. c:
"Yes, just give yourself some time to relax and heal." he purred. "And maybe also catch up on some well-deserved slumber!"
