In 6th grade, my LA/Lit/SS class (it was a blocked class) made Autobiography/Portfolios of the work we did. I found the cutest little poem from the start of the year tucked inside, and I loved it so much I wanted to share it. Oh, what a wonderful world this would be, If everyone was happy. Effort is what we all will need, If any of us want to succeed. So when your mom tells you to clean up your room, Do what she says and pick up a broom. Whenever you feel like you want to quit, Just try harder, just a bit. Remember the bigger the mountain you climb, The better the treasure you're sure to find. And then at the bottom I wrote this quote: "Be of good cheer. Do not think of today's failures, but of the success that may come tomorrow. You have set yourself a difficult task, but you will succeed if you persevere; and you will find a joy in overcoming obstacles. Remember, no effort that we make to attain something beautiful is ever lost." -Helen Keller
What do you guys think? D'you think I had any 6th grader talent? TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME!
