(Sorry it's so short) Duskbreeze grunted with effort as she carried, okay, dragged Turtlestep into the camp, earning her some curious glances. She shoved him into the medicine cats' den. It was no small feat, along with not the best thing to make you look graceful. He had been beat up big time by some dumb badger while a whisker on her had barely been touched. She was gratified he thought their friendship was worth enough to sacrifice himself, but she didn't want him to be dead. "Littlefox? Mintfrost? Anyone?" she called, her watchful gaze flicking side to side. Turtlestep, Littlefox, Mintfrost

"ABNORMAL".tags;; etc;; "CloudClan, what happened to him?!" cried Littlefox as she bounded over to the bloody warrior. Taking quick glances over his wounds, she hurried to the back of the den in search of marigold, but the stock was seemingly empty. Of course, it had all been practically wasted on cats fighting their own clanmates and falling into thorn bushes. Exhaling in frustration and holding back an eye-roll, the ginger and white she-cat picked up stems of horsetail instead, along with plenty of cobweb. Not making that mistake ever again.
Rushing over, she took half the cobweb and began to hold it to Turtlestep's wounds and nosed the horsetail towards Duskbreeze.
"I've no idea where Mintfrost is, so if you want to help, feel free to chew those up and apply the poultice to his wounds after they've stopped bleeding."

"Badger." she sighed, gazing at the bloody mess which was Turtlestep. Littlefox had picked up stems of an unfamiliar herb, along with cobweb, which had helped the Clans for seasons. Duskbreeze chewed the horsetail up and applied them to Turtlestep's wounds gingerly. "Are you okay, Turtle?" she meowed, prodding him carefully with a paw.

[broken rib which punctured his lung, broken leg, and individual scratches. the leg was mangled pretty bad, so he'd probably have a permanent slight limp. he's probably going to have to stay in the medicine cat's den for a while, yeah?]
Turtlestep's breathing was coming in short, shallow gasps. Yet, each time he took a breath, fire shot through his stomach and chest, black dots floating across his vision. He could barely see, the edges of his vision dark and blurry. He could feel himself slipping slowly into unconsciousness, though the pain in his leg, cheek, and chest remained as real as ever. He felt his small, fluffy body being lowered into a nest, but he had no control. He couldn't move.
Blood seeped into the moss, clumping his once snowy fur into crimson lumps. He heard their voices faintly, sucking air through gritted teeth when the poultice was touched to his wounds. Duskbreeze's voice was muted when she leaned down to apply the horsetail, speaking to him, but he could still make out the words. "Yeah," he gasped. He knew it was a lie, and he knew she knew it as well. But he didn't want her to worry even more. He relaxed into the nest, blinking to try and force the darkness back.

"No, you're not." Duskbreeze replied briskly, her eyes narrowed. His breaths were harsh and shallow and she feared for what would happen if he stopped for even a heartbeat. "Is he seriously injured?" she inquired anxiously. She knew she was, but still, it was a question she had to ask, yet she feared the answer. "You'll be alright." she reassured, pressing her muzzle to his snowy fur and grooming his fur with long, rhythmic strokes of her rough, pink tongue. "You're at the medicine cats' den now, and Littlefox is going to make you better." She repeated those words in her head, hoping with all her might it would be fulfilled.
