It was cold day in the Iceclan camp. Well it was always a cool day in Iceclan. The warriors were up and getting ready for the day and the kits were in the nursery playing or sleeping. Snowkit was kin her nest watching the other kits watch a warm blue gaze. She didnʻt want to bother anyone so she had stayed there. Her shyness also got the best of her so she would pretend she was sleeping if any kit came up to her. The dark grey, white spotted she kit lay on her belly and watched. If only I could build the courage to get up and go over to someone. She mumbled to herself as she continued her search for a kit.

Naturekit wandered around, looking for her any of her friends. She couldn't seem to find any. Disappointed, Naturekit made her way back to her nest to rest. On her way, she noticed a small grey and white kit looking around the nursery. Maybe she's feeling just as lonely as I am, Naturekit thought. Naturekit padded up to her. "Hi! I'm Naturekit."

Snowkit was starting to doze off when another she kit walked up to her. Naturekit is her name. Should I reply or not? She thought as she looked up at the other kit with wide, frightened eyes. M-My n-name is Snowkit. She replied with a soft, almost inaudible voice. She was shaking so hard that she knew the other kit could see it. She didn't even try to hide that fact that she was scared. Where this would go? Only Cloudclan knew.

"Nice to meet you, Snowkit." Naturekit then realized just how scared and frightened Snowkit seemed to be. "Hey, is everything okay? You don't have to be scared. I won't hurt you," she encouraged her with a small smile. Oh no...what did I do wrong? Naturekit wondered with worry. I hope I didn't upset her too much...

Snowkit stayed crouched down in her nest for a few more moments before standing on shaking paws. I-Iʻm f-fine. J-Just a little s-shy. She stammered and looked at the other kit. She didn't want the kit to feel like she did anything wrong, she was just shy and that was how she was. I-Iʻs n-nice to meet you t-to Naturekit. T-That is a very original name. She meowed as she looked at the kit and gave a nervous smile.

Naturekit felt relief flood through her. "Well, thank you! I really like your name too!" she replied with a grin. "Are you new to the nursery?" she asked curiously. Maybe she just wasn't used to the clan yet.

Snowkit smiled and flicked her tail over her paws. Y-Yes. Accually I am new to the den. Or the clan or whatever. She meowed with a dip of her head as her gaze fell to her paws and her ears flicked forward. She was listening for anything else besides Naturkitʻs reply. Maybe a sign of rain. Yeah thats what she heard. It was going to rain. A thunder storm maybe. Her mood automatically brightened and she looked up.

"Cool! I'm pretty new myself, but it's not too hard to make new friends," Naturekit replied. She then noticed Snowkit brighten. "What? What is it?" she asked, feeling her mood brighten herself. She couldn't tell exactly what it was, but she new something was about to happen.
