Illuminati?

I've been waiting so long for a debate. Honestly guys, I wanna know. Do you think that the Illuminati really is over ruling the US or any place else?

I've been in my Historical Detectives class and a few of the most annoying guys that sit behind me continue on talking about how the Illuminati is gonna take over America (Yes, I know not every one lives in America.) Anyway guys, what are your thoughts?

Hmmmmm, I doodled a crapload of Illuminati symbols in my notebook. So next tie you go rifling my stuff you may or may not find some suspicious things that are also on the dollar bill...
Speaking of that, did anybody know it's on the dollar bill. I' not taking sides on this yet, but it could show that the Illuminati is in the government.

You do realize the "Illuminati symbol" on the American dollar bill is the Eye of Providence, right? It was a symbol for an all-seeing eye over the world in Christianity to represent the Trinity. And even if the government really was run by the "Illuminati", why would they put their symbol on the dollar bill? You'd think they'd try to be secret about it instead of blatantly advertising it on the currency. 

Fun fact: the Illuminati, in real life, was a Bavarian organization of intellectuals that was disbanded in the 1700s. That's it. That's literally all it is. 

Here's food for thought: if the Illuminati really was as widespread and all-powerful as people say it is, how on earth has no one leaked any secrets from it? How has no one provided evidence someone's a member of the Illuminati or tied to it in some way, or a government is run by it, without resorting to YouTube videos of various pictures with tiny, inconspicuous little "hints" pointed out with red circles? How has such an organization been able to keep itself so perfectly secret for decades?

And for that matter, does the Illuminati really have absolutely nothing better to do with its time than randomly putting its symbols in things, rather than actually doing the things people believe they do?

Seriously, I'd love for someone who believes in it to actually answer those questions instead of turning a blind eye while spouting conspiracy theories.

I know that's not the actual Illuminati symbol-what I was trying to say is that it looks like one. Sorry if that came out wrong. I mostly think the Illuminati is a joke, as it is among most people-I haven't ever actually seen someone who takes them seriously.

Honestly, no. I think we would no it if they were, as strange as that sounds. I just don't really believe in them that much.
