Vex had gotten lucky that morning. The skinny youngling managed to kill a rather large rat near the border with Twolegplace. Hungry as she was, she knew she wouldn't be able to eat it all by herself… and the ground was too frozen to bury it and come back later. So she padded to DeathClan's main clearing, sat down, and waited for some other cats to show themselves.
