December '14 Gathering!

[Cloverstar]

Cloverstar blinked. Well, she couldn't say she was surprised by that kind of response, given who she was talking to. If anything, that actually put her own feelings into words.

"Ah...I see what you mean," she coughed awkwardly. "I'm afraid RockClan's conditions are rather similar this time of year. Let us hope this will be one of those years where newleaf comes early."

Her personal hopes weren't very high, but then again, she doubted anyone's really was.

[Crowwing]

Crowwing amongst the edge of the Gathering, just wanting to be out of the clan, watching as cats began to mingle around.

[Wolfmist]

Wolfmist padded into the clearing searching for someone to speak to. She certainly hadn't expected to be approached first. She turned in surprise, greeted by a familiar silver she-cat. The one she had spoken to the last gathering. "Oh! Hello! Rainpaw, yes?" Warrior name? "That's very exciting, if I do say so myself. You certainly deserve it." She purred. She couldn't help but be proud, even if the female was from a different clan. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your new name?"

[Rainspark]

Rainpaw grinned whisker-to-whisker. She burned with a mixture of pride and embarrassment "My name is Rainspark now. I love this name, it sound beautiful." She meowed, then inquired "How have you been?" She asked, hoping they could be friends

[Silverwhisker]

    Silverwhisker purred, walking toward the gathering. "Good day, everyone?" she asked, trying to act polite and like a senior warrior, like she almost is. The tabby swiped her tail over her paws and sat up tall, waiting for any news.

[Wildblaze]

Wildpaw padded in just after his mentor, Silverwhisker. He smiled as he looked around at all of the foreigners around him. To think they could come together like this every moon was just splendid.

Glowingpaw decided to stop watching and actually interact with some of these cats. The patched tom padded up to an older-looking FireClan apprentice: Wildblaze.

"Hi," he greeted quietly. "I'm Glowingpaw. You're from FireClan, right?"

[Silverwhisker]

Silverwhisker turned her head around to find her apprentice, Wildpaw. Another apprentice came near, and by the scent, she found out he was from TreeClan. She smiled, then turned her head around to gaze at other cats, wondering if any would grab a conversation.

[Cherryheart]

Cherryheart sat down on a snowbank. SHe waited for someone to come and join her. ### words written for @// while listening to Notes? IM always that one person who's utterly ignored on gatherings

[Lyricwhisper]

Lyricwhisper walked into the gathering alone, looking around. There were so many cats. It almost scared her. The she-cat walked over to a duo of apprentices, her stub of a tail moving slightly. "H-hello. May I join you? I'm Lyricwhisper from RockClan."

The TreeClan apprentice's conversation with Wildpaw was interrupted by the appearance of a RockClan warrior. Glowingpaw gasped, his green eyes wide. "Wait, Lyric? I heard the stories about you! You're the cat who saved everyone from DeathClan, right?" Wow, this was so cool! Glow felt as if he was meeting a living legend.

[Wolfmist]

"Rainspark is a very beautiful name," she agreed, repeating the name in her head. "Was this the name you had wished for, or was it picked at random by Whitehawk?" She inquired curiously with a twitch of her pale whiskers. "Oh, I've been great, thank you. Met a rude little warrior after our last gathering, turned out she was my half-sister - what a shame - but all's well. And you?"

[Finchcall]

"Hey," she replied to Ghostpaw with a teasing grin. She remembered their meeting at the border not long ago, and wished it hadn't ended so soon. Of course, they could speak over the invisible line another time, but the gathering seemed as good as any. "So, what are you two up to?" She inquired with a yawn. Hm… I wonder when the gathering will begin, she wondered briefly, cheerful, green eyes wandering towards the leaders before the focused back on the two tomcats.

" Just... talking. " He glanced at the male apprentice beside him. He tried not being hostile, the corner of his mouth tugging upwards, but it felt just a little fake. Hostility was a FireClan nature, the toughness of the heat and gruelling weather toughened their skin and never made them too eager to relax and open their shells for a possible "scorching".

But Finchpaw was here. His muscles untensed his muscles and he wished himself to stop being so judgemental. But though he had a familiar face here in a sea of cats his heart jumped and skipped when he glanced her way and felt the heat radiating from her pelt, and absorbing the scent that he loved, despised Thistleclaw for carrying the same leafy, musty aroma, and for the similar TreeClan curve to his voice. But he shrugged it off - at least she was here. He shouldn't be so judgemental. He wouldn't be tonight, he silently promised himself

Rainspark nodded "I requested it, yes. I just love the name. It's not too common either, so I stand out." She meowed, thinking of all the other cats with the 'Rain' prefix across the Clans. Rainspark purred, glad that all was well "Yes, I've been great too. I guess the only thing thats not very good is that I don't see my mentor as much. I don't know who my father is, and he's the closest thing I've had to one for a while." She admitted, thinking of Loneblaze

(To be honest, I still type "Rainpaw" all the time. I need to get used to this too xD)
