If you love me let me go
| ( Beepaw) Darkpaw brushed past the entrance to the Den and smiled as the scent of it washed around him. He always loved how cozy and welcoming the Den felt. That and there was always bound to be at least one cat that he could adventure with or play pranks on. But today he wasn't here to sleep, do chores, or go on an adventure. He was helping one of the new guys, Beepaw, make a nest. He was originally going to offer to help all three, but at the ceremony Spiderpaw had seemed busy with Blazepaw, and Mothpaw hadn't said much at all. Once he was closer to the center of the den he turned around to face his new den-mate and he smiled. "Alright, any ideas as to where you and your siblings might like to sleep? Most of the center space is filled up already, so unless you can all pile on top of each other, or you want to sleep away from them, I wouldn't suggest sleeping there." He said before pointing to his own nest, which was in the very, very back. "There's some room back there with my nest. If, of course, you like sleeping in the coldest part of the Den." He said cheerfully, padding back there. |

The petite apprentice could feel her body pulsating with adrenaline thanks to the elation that hit her in waves each step she took closer to her new life. The life of an apprentice. The frosty she-cat's large arctic gaze swept over the nests and walls of the den, her brows raised as she searched for the part of the den that seemed right for her.
Beepaw's velvet ashen ears twitched towards the tom who was helping her, Darkpaw, as he spoke. Eventually the captivating lilac point's electric gaze fell to the back of the den, "Hmmm.." Beepaw inaudibly followed the tom as he lead the way towards the back.
"It seems nice back here." She concluded after a moment of furrowed brows stuck in concentration. "Cool, but not to cold." She grinned with a charismatic flick of her sagebrush tipped tail, she blinked her large eyes innocently for a moment, her coal colored eyes lashes inky in the darkness rimming her vibrant sapphire orbs. The apprentice nodded to her companion, "I'll sleep back here, now where do we get some moss?" She asked tilting her head to the side scrutinizing his face in the magma shadows.

| Darkpaw smiled at her as she examined the back of the den. She looked so happy to be an apprentice now, and he couldn't help but feel happy for her. Hopefully she'd actually stick around, unlike his past friends. He was in a desperate need for friends...And maybe more. But he could leave that part out for now.
When she asked him where they could get moss he smiled and pointed his head in the direction of the exit. "Oh, uh, I'unno. Someone brought moss to the den when I was made an apprentice. Here, let's check outside. Maybe a kind warrior or den-mate brought you and the others some. If not we could go to the Medicine Cats, I know they have some." He cooed, walking for the exit.
When he stepped out of the den he spotted several clumps of moss not too far from the den, resting in the shade of a maple tree whose branches often covered this area. "Whoever brings this moss for us really deserves some kind of reward." He said, grabbing one of the clumps and rolling it towards the den. "Come on," He said to Beepaw happily, "I'll help you make your nest." He purred. Maybe, just maybe, he could help her make her nest next to his own. |

The pretty she-cats lips curled up into a smile as Darkpaw casually conversed with her. It felt nice to talk to somebody other than Spiderpaw or Mothpaw the she-cat was the youngest of the three however often found herself without either of the two. As siblings the three were very independent which left all of them without the company of friends.
Until now that is. Beepaw followed Darkpaw outside of the den her orbs landing on a fresh ball of rich green moss. Beepaw observed as the older apprentice rolled the ball of moss back towards the apprentice den, Beepaw followed grabbing a few pieces of bracken to shape the rim of her nest.
Through the bracken in her jaws the minty she-cat said, "Thank you so much Darkpaw!" She stepped into the den traveling towards the back and glancing at the nests back there. "Hmmm.... Where are you sleeping?" She asked with an innocent grin. She wanted to sleep near the tom, he seemed to be her first friend and Beepaw hardly new anyone else in the den other than her siblings.

| (Gonna do a super short post because I legit just lost all of my vww muse after procrastinating doing stuff for like 20 minutes)
Darkpaw grinned as Beepaw asked him where he slept. He placed the clump of moss next to his own nest and pointed at it with his head. "Right here." He said as he looked at it. He had been putting feathers in it for the past quarter moon, and now it looked more like a loon's brood than a bed. "...Ignore the feathers..I like comfort.." He said awkwardly, smiling sheepishly at he. |

The ashen apprentice grinned as her sapphire orbs pinpointed a nest of crisp moss and ivory feathers. "It looks snug." She chuckled enchantingly blinking her large eyes, her coal lashes rimming the arctic glow was impossibly inky against her sagebrush and ash face. Beepaw sashayed forward and spread out the ball of moss, her smokey paws unfamiliar to the technique needed for nest making.

| Darkpaw smiled as Beepaw began to make her nest. He hadn't made a friend like this since he was a very young kit, and it felt fantastic. Perhaps he could also meet Beepaw's siblings, and have them meet his own. He grinned as he imagined the chaos of Raccoonpaw meeting Beepaw's family.
He shook his head as he focused himself back on the present. "So, what're your siblings like? Mine are...Different than myself, to put it simply." He said, rolling his eyes as he remembered their adventures as kits. |
