Give up, we needed the c o m p a n y Let's drink to your health So that cough, and sneeze and everything else that was going on. The young tom caught that evil thing. He sneezed and cried in agony as he walked into the medicine cats den. Sneezing and coughing, the tom shook his head and looked around, his blue eyes pale with pain and his nose running like crazy. He sniffled and then shook his head whimpering. " Help me.." he whispered and then he looked down and then lay on the ground. He didn't want a nest he just wanted help. The tiny apprentice shivered and coughed as he shook his head. The frail body heaved for breathe. He lay on the ground and the looked toward the back of the den with watering eyes. " Littlefox, Mintfrost... I need your assistance please." he mewled as he fell into a coughing spasm and lay down crying in pain as the sneezes got more aggressive. | | | NOTES: so hi bbys tis maddi |

"Calm down, I'm coming." He heard the coughing and the sneezing. "...Third case I've seen of this." He gave a heavy sigh. "I think we might have a spread of something.. and I'm very scared it might be greencough. I won't really know unless one of you has a fever." The fluffy tomcat came down to eye-level of the apprentice and listened closely to his breathing. He could hear the irregularity and it was almost wheezing-like. "Two symptoms.." He looked at the apprentice's nose and saw that it was running. "Are you sluggish at all? Fatigued?" He placed a paw on the apprentice. "You're a bit warm." Mintfrost didn't want to scare the apprentice but it was only right to give him a truthful diagnosis of his case.
"I think you might have whitecough or may even be on the verge of greencough. We need to treat you as soon as possible." Mintfrost cursed under his breath knowing he had a shortage of catmint with him. But the apprentice was younger compared to the other patients he had. His body would tolerate the sickness a lot less. "I'm going to give you some catmint." He placed the herb beside the apprentice and some honey too. "The honey will soothe the coughing. This will be your first dose of catmint and we will work on getting you better. For now you are going to have to stay in here and take a break from training. I'm going to bring a few warriors out to collect some catmint so we don't run out."

Give up, we needed the c o m p a n y Let's drink to your health When finally one of the two arrived, the apprentice stared up at him. It was Mintfrost, the newer medicine cat. He coughed and and buried his mouth into his paws so he wouldn't cough on the medicine cat. When he heard the possibility of Green Cough, his eyes lit up in terror " G-Greencough? No!" he cried out before coughing again and groaning in misery, the tom lay his head down and took slow shaky breaths. " I am very sluggish.. it started during one of my training sessions, I couldn't quiet keep still, I keep swaying and leaving the world sleeping while standing up because this has been keeping me up at night" he mewled. The apprentices eyes lit up in fear as he shook his head " I hope thats not the case" he whimpered and then when he heard the tom was going to give him some catmint and honey he nodded his head slowly and listened to the tom. He looked down at the sticky substance and herb. He sighed and did what he had to and then twitched his tail sneezing after licking the last bit of the honey. " Grah that stuff is so sticky" he muttered. " Don't fret on me, if there's others get them on their feet my mentor doesn't train me often so I am ok." he whispered laying his head back down. " Thank you.." |

"Calm down, you aren't going to die. Not on my account you aren't." He wouldn't make that mistake again. "Aye, calm down. The catmint will do its job and the honey will soothe your throat. You aren't going to be training till this is gone. We'll keep tabs on you from in this den. You can stay with Littlefox and I in here till you are all better, no worries." He sighed. "It's sticky, but it'll help your throat." He explained. "We'll get all of you on your feet as soon as we can." He looked back at his herb supply. "I've put together a patrol to get more herbs so we won't run out. I'm going to take the healthy warriors and apprentices out to the kittypet territory to collect some catmint because it is one of the only places we can get it and if we are dealing with greencough then we will need all the catmint we can get."
