Crowwing

It's just white-cough and a chill. 

    So to recap her night, she'd been saved from the frozen pond receiving cut her belly on the sharp ice, exhausted muscles, gotten a small cough with a fever, and a shivering chill. As well as a fear of fast moving object or suprise movements. All from a midnight charade. Stupid young mind.

    The lynx tabby slunk into the medicine cats den where Crowwing was and she looked around. It hurt to even walk but it was her own fault now. Of course she couldn't have been out on the ice in the first place but... young mischievous minds like to wander you know.

    Her belly stung from the constant motion of her shaking chills and the cut across her belly. It bled only a little now, but it could have been infected if she let it go too long. Shatterpaw shook from her chill, and coughed every few minutes. She didn't feel warm like her feverish pelt suggested, but instead felt like she was frozen.

"Erm.. Crowwing? Can you-" She coughed a minute before continuing. "Can you help me?"

The cough was terrible, and Crowwing's felt a chill running down his spine as soon as the apprentice entered the den. A shame it was, catching such a cold, but it was natural. "Come to the center of the den Shatterpaw." he directed; he had a goal on learning everyone's names and this was done by attending ceremonies.

"I see that you're the first to catch this." he muttered, returning to the inventory of herbs in the rear of the den. Catmint, was it? Even Skyflight showed him this once or twice as a kit, and didn't Clovepetal say this was the remedy too? It was a struggle, treating something for the first time without the head medicine cat being around.

"Right. Catmint. It's a good thing they're still fresh." The tom maneuvered around the den and returned to the lynx seal with some of the leaves in his mouth. 'I'll have to make sure that the Twoleg garden has plenty more of these growing soon, and I do hope that Shatterpaw did not spread this to anyone else.'
