He paused in thought at this. That was an interesting situation right there. I don't remember my parents. I was left to fend for myself as a Rogue before I joined Iceclan. He didn't mean to make her feel bad if he did. However, you are not a burden honey, no cat is a burden. He shot her a smile and didn't know what else to really do.

"Well you've survived and.. you're okay. I feel like a burden. She sighed, looking up at him as he gave her a reassuring smile.
Shatterpaw sighed again but she didn't know what else to do. She looked up at him with big brown eyes and gave a small smile too.

He stared back with his amber orbs calmly. You are not a burden Shatterpaw. If you ever need someone to talk to I am here. He wanted to help her and make her happy.

Shatterpaw looked down at her paws as she fidgeted. She coughed, a light cough now that the herbs were working their magic. She looked back up at Flamingthorn and smiled at his words. She'd finally found a friend who cared.
Thank you Flamingthorn. She meowed, touching her nose to his cheek.
It was meant as a thank you, nothing more. However, she couldn't stand the likeness she now felt for her newfound friend.

He smiled in realization that is work was doing it's magic once more. He loved the whole process of mixing herbs and helping cats. Not a problem Shatterpaw. She would make a great friend. In fact, he needed to get to know his various clan mates well. Now he knew an Apprentice.
