Lionsmoke gave a frown. "I'm glad, because I like your personality, even though you are blindingly beautiful." The blue-gray cat gave a smile. "I feel like I need to do so much more. Now that you're expecting, you won't be able to do some things. I'll make sure I will provide for you." The tom lowered his head, licking her cheek. "I'll love you after I die as well. I will wait for you in CloudClan." he murmured. At her words, he frowned again, tightening his grip on her. "Hopefully they won't mind. Maybe your sisters will take mercy on us." he whispered, burying his head against her neck.

Wolfmist smiled sheepishly. "Please," she laughed in embarrassment. "I'm sure I'll do fine," she chuckled. "You can pamper me however much you want, however," she teased. "You'll wait for me? I might be waiting for you," she chuckled. "But either way, I'll be happy to be reunited when we die." She chuckled at his next words. "We'll see. They can be pretty fierce and protective." She laughed.

Lionsmoke sighed. "It's just going to be lonely without you. I don't want you to leave." The blue cat laughed. "Good, because I will." Lionsmoke nodded. We will always wait for each other. "Oh, come on. I'll just keep my distance. Lightfall won't mind me because I'm your mate. I'm sure Rowansky won't mind either." he meowed.

"They'll probably be fine with it," she agreed, licking his cheek. "I don't think it'll be too long before they're born," she meowed, glancing back at her belly. "Do you have any names you like?"

Lionsmoke nodded, purring when she licked his cheek. "Really? And you just found out?" He felt a bit worried for her. He looked at her stomach as well. She didn't seem swollen like the other queens. "Names ... I like Smokekit or maybe Ashkit. What about you?" He paused, speaking once again. "Sorry, forgive me for asking, but I wanted to make sure. We didn't lose our status as mates, did we? I felt like the fight kind of knocked it out." he said.

Wolfmist nodded. "My stomach has been feeling weird for quote a while now - but I just got it checked out yesterday, after our little..." she shrugged, a smile returning moments later. "Those are both adorable. For girls, I like Hickorykit or Orchidkit, and for boys, Minnowkit. Of course, there are many more I like," an idea struck her. "How about Swallowkit? After your old name," she purred. "No! I mean, I should hope not. I believe, since we got through it, it has made us stronger as a couple."

Lionsmoke Lionsmoke gave a small laugh at the thought of tiny kittens moving around in her stomach. He shifted his paw on her belly lower, trying to see if he could feel one. "Do you know how old they may be now? Or house close you are to having them?" he asked. "Hickory and Orchid. Both beautiful names." A laugh escaped him. "Swallowkit. I remember bearing that name. If you like it, we can." At her outburst and then explanation, he laughed again, grinning. "Good. Because I want to father these kits as their actual father with their actual mother."

Wolfmist could already imagine little cats crawling around her, suckling at her belly. "I believe they are about one moon already, so we'll have to wait another moon before they are born," she replied. It was what the medicine cat had told her. "If any of them fit the name Swallow, I'd love to," she purred. "As do I," she smiled in content.

Lionsmoke gave a small sigh. "Will time go any slower?" For every litter he's had, or the two he's had, he had not really be extremely excited for them. It was more like dread. He loved his children, but they weren't with someone he really loved. But, these kits had him anxious and waiting impatiently. "Maybe one will look like me. If there's one like that, we could name it Swallow." he whispered.

Wolfmist nodded in agreement. "Right? I want these little suckers out of me. Imagine how cute and playful they'll be," she purred. "Although I'm sure the kitting will be...painful," and she shuddered at that thought. "That sounds wonderful."

Lionsmoke flicked his tail, smiling at the thought. "I really hope they enjoy me. I almost feel like my other kits don't know me or hate me." He sighed before nuzzling her neck. "You'll be fine. You'll have me, the medicine cats, and your sisters. Plus Mothbriar will be there." he said.

"Why would your kits hate you?" She asked, flicking her tail at his flank. "They'll love you - I'm sure they'll be all over you. They'll look up to you, I'm sure of it," she replied in a soft, truthful voice. "You'll be there too, won't you?"

Lionsmoke frowned, giving a shrug. "Maybe they will hear about me. What I've done." he murmured softly, half hoping he was quiet enough so that Wolfmist couldn't hear him. "I do hope so." At her question, he nodded without hesitation. "I will. I have never been at a kitting, and, quite frankly, I don't know if I want to see what happens. But, I'll be there for you."
