The sun was in the middle of the sky, making crystals of snow shine in the rays. Knight had been traveling only for a while that day, but his desire to travel seemed to dwindle. He found the calm peace of his current location beautiful, making him want to stay a while longer. His yellow eyes looked about the small clearing, checking for anyone who could be around. He sniffed the ground, checking if there were any scent markers in the area.
The last thing Knight wanted to do was cross a pack border. Packs were a dangerous thing to meddle with and more then half the time would drive out a trespasser with threats, violence or very rarely they would just tell them to leave. This was one of the reasons Knight tried to avoid packs, there was also the fact that he didn't want to join one.
Knight's belly rumbled, reminding him that he had skipped out on breakfast. The best decision now was to go and hunt for some fresh kill, so that is what he did. He pricked his ears and began to sniff the ground in hopes he would soon find prey.

she padded thought the glowing plains the shimmering white powder was so pretty it seemed to captivate the young female, she looked over to the east then the west and glanced behind her self and giggled to her self as she saw her own paw prints going far back to the south towards the pack heart lands. she then studied the glistening earth in front of her and was startled to see a black shape in the distance his inky frame seemed just as timid as she felt. She stood tall and lifted her head to howl to the stranger seeing if she might contain his attention and she started to bound down the white expanse of ground soon she was close enough to tell he was rouge, or at least a loner he seemed curios. she could scent he was alone and male. she started to get slightly angered as it seemed it was in search of prey just the way his nose flared and ears angled he seemed to be searching for a meal.she closed the space and growled to him with a hostile voice "Just what do you think your Doing?!" she stepped closer with her teeth showing as they were bared in a wicked snarl but her optics showed that she wanted nothing but peace. she hoped he would be the friendly type or she would have to attack hoping she was not like the last stupid loner that showed up she held her ground defiantly. for her size she looked like more of a joke but oh he would have one hack of a ride if he thought she was nothing that he could not deal with cause SHE was.Knight , Hi im new so if im not allowed to post here just tell me and its nice to meet you

Knight's ears pricked to a howl, the noise of footsteps. The footsteps got louder, suggesting that the wolf was coming closer. He lifted his head and looked to his left, seeing another wolf. Knight smelled the air and could scent that she was female. The large male watched her come closer and turn hostile. She growled at him, and that made him edgy. Knight was a little bit paranoid, making him wonder if he passed a border.
Knight wasn't stupid, he knew that if this was pack territory she would have allies. The best he could do was be diplomatic and talk his way out. "I was simply hunting, I am rather famished," Knight answered. "I am sorry maiden, did I cross into your territory?" Knight was only presuming he did, since their was hostility in her voice. Knight just watched her, he didn't want her to suddenly attack him and win in that fight.

She sensed his little eagerness for a battle and she hoped he relised she was not to exited for one either, so she caught onto his cunning words and went along with it with much less hostile in her form. she listend with ears erect and a smile grew across her face as he seemed to have a lot going on in his mind like shouldn't she have others at her side or is she going to jump at me with out warning is what she started to pick up at his edgy movement and flickering optics.
she nodded as he made the comment of being quite hungry and she muttered a little more to her self than to the male 'aren't we all" she looked down at the snow she her self had just ranked up to head hunter for the pack and with prey so difficult to find she would come back with usually the smallest of prey she felt ashamed as she seemed to not be able to do anything right. she then met his golden stare as he said maiden, and an amused expression painted it's self on her face. she shook her head "No, my boundaries are quite a ways away but with such pitiful prey we have to move quite a bit more" she shrugged as if what she had just said was nothing but her optics showed worry for her pack. she then shook her maned head and asked with a silky and much kinder voice "well. Im Destiny and you are?" she new she had over reacted when she saw the male she was just jumpy her self and new she would have had a hard time if he decided he could take her on.Knight , ok great !  |

After Knight had talked to her in a calm, diplomatic way, she seemed less hostile. This made Knight a lot more pleased, for he didn't want to fight anyone. Fights lead to cuts, scrapes, and many other injuries that would delay his travels. She talked about her boundaries and the shortage of prey, which made sense. "I understand, since it is winter I can see you point and why you had such hostility before," Knight agreed, understanding where the she-wolf was coming from. She then stated her name, which was a rather interesting one. "Destiny, that is an interesting name. Anyways, I am Knight and it's a pleasure to meet you," Knight said, introducing himself. He liked being polite, so of course he showed kindness.
[ I am presuming you mean shortage rather then plentiful cause it winter... ]

She nodded glad he understood and well she was happy to see he was not the blood thirsty type as well, she listend on and smiled slightly as she stated that her birth given name had been taken to interest she shook her head as she thought it was just her... she never really had thought about it. she then dipped her head to the male as he started him name as well and she personalty thought it was very fitting for him he acted like a night in shining armor (smart, full of adventure, great manors, and well of course he seemed to have a way with a damsel) "Well, Knight its nice to meet you are well" she looked up for a moment the sun had moved quite a bit since her coming and she shrived at the thought of another bone chilling night. but she pushed it all aside for the moment and asked "What brings you to this part of the Mountains?" she noted he smelled as if he had been every where she could recognized some of the scents but not all he smelled of (the glades rushing stream, the pined valley, the cold snow, dormant forest, and well like stones as if he had climbed to the perks them self's)

[ Oh, whoops, nvm. xD Also Knight's compliments... I am glad she thinks that since that is what I intended for this character. :3 ]
Knight was happy to see that everything soothed over after they talked about the shortage and had an understanding. When she said it was nice to meet him as well, he nodded thanks to her rather then speaking aloud. Knight let her continue and ask a question that most travelers would get. "For the most part I am here because I like to travel. I want to see new things, meet new wolves, stuff like that. I am not one to stay in one specific area, like you, fair Destiny," Knights said, using his kind words. He presumed that Destiny stayed in one area, but in all honesty he wasn't completely sure.

(ya I caught onto that after I read thought his Bio)Knight she nodded as she listend as he went on about his life style, she then shook her head "Oh, I used to travel until I found well.... here" she smiled she would never forget her first day padding thought the sunny clearing blossoms and the strong scent of honey suckle with itch at her nose she then met some every interesting wolfs and made friends soon she had made more ties to the area than she had ever made before and disiced to give the pack live a go.... and never really thought of going back some times she missed the daily adventure and the exiting thought of NEW.. so she got it as he spoke she new the feeling it was great really really great. she smiled once again at his gentleman like word choice using the word "fair" had caught he attention and she asked another question hoping she was not starting to annoy the kind sir "Have you taken a liking to here at all?"

Here...now is my home,where my
loyalty lies...
The white wolf couldn't find nothing
to do.She was the new alpha fighter,
but there weren't other packs to fight
right now...
So Sapphire went to the forest,looking for
some prey when she could smell Destiny's
scent.She followed it and saw her and
another wolf who she didn't know.
"Good Morning Destiny"
She dipped her head with respect.
But her blue orbs now focused on the black
unkown male
"Who is he?"
Sapphire said with a serious voice.
It was clear that the white wolf didn't
trust the mysterious dark male

Knight's yellow eyes wondered up and he saw another wolf approach. He sniffed the air, noticing that this wolf was also female. When she approached, she spoke to Destiny first, making it clear she knew the maiden. When she asked who he was, Knight decided to speak for himself. "I am Knight, other fair maiden, and who may you be?" Knight asked curiously. Since he was traveling, he figured he might as well get to know the wolves in the area. This would be good for him, since he could know what threats exist in the area. However Knight was glad to see that the other female was not hostile either.

When the male spoke he didn't
look to be agressive or anything.
So she dipped her head and
said calmly
"I'm Sapphire from the same
pack as Destiny."
The white wolf sat down on the fluffy
and cold snow
"Knight huh?It suits you well"
She said calmly to the black male.
He looked to be a loner,but Sapphire
wasn't sure,he didn't have the scent
of other wolves on him.

she stood in as the awkward silents stretched on after a moment she dipped her head to the other female and answered "Morning to you as well Sapphire, this is......" knight had cut in and formally introduced him self as he had done so to her just moments before. She listed as the two shared a moment of words, she then asked sapphire, "Have you anything to report about the...." she was not sure if she should speak it out loud seeing well telling a loner valuable information is not the best of ways to start off....She then shook her head and flicked her tail showing the white female they would discus the delama later. She then noted how comfortable the white she-wolf seemed in the snow she blended in with it as well she must love the hunting season right now, she then turned to Knight and back at Sapphire, the white female motion showed dist trust in the stranger, but as for Knight his optics showed nothing more than making another friend as well as calmness.(Nice of you to join in)

Knight was pleased that the second wolf was calm about his present. At least his diplomacy skills were well sharpened and constantly practiced due to his travels. The other wolf stated her name and a compliment about his as well. "Thank-you fair Sapphire and may I say, your name is very unique. I don't usually meet wolves named after types of gems," Knight complimented back. For a moment the two were going to talk of pack information, but when Destiny stopped abruptly, he didn't mind. He understood that their pack must keep their secrets safe, even from the ears of a traveler.
