The kittypet tom leaped over the fence of his middle-class families home, christmas-themed bell collar jingling as he trotted down the cracked sidewalk. He peered around his surroundings through cobalt blue eyes, before spotting the silhouette of another cat coming his way to the end of the road. They didn't smell of house-folk at all - which, he could tell thanks to his amazing sniffer. They smelled of something strange, more feral; it peaked his curiosity. "Hello?" He called to the stranger. Stream

Stream had decided to wander the streets in the kittypet place, perhaps to get recruits. He didn't know if Drought would like former kittypets, but if they were strong, he'd probably accept them. He heard this annoying jingling noise, turning to see a kittypet. Irritation was clear in his eyes. "Dark pool, will you take that dreadful thing off?"

Gemini jumped at the sudden hateful tone of the cat before him, "What, my collar?" He sat back on his haunches, pawing at one of the bells for a spell. "Well, no." He spoke, peering back up at the cat. Gemini was somewhat large for his age, probably the size of a pug or some other medium sized dog. Like most kittypets, he wasn't overweight. All of the meat on him was purely muscle from all of his trips outside. "Dark pool? That's a strange phrase, for something that creatures swim in." He spoke, narrowing his eyes at the tom "Just who are you anyway?"

Stream snorted. "It's annoying." he meowed, lashing his tail. "Dark pool is a term for where awful cats go after they die. It is not a place to swim." he meowed, narrowing his gaze. "What are you doing out of your home, anyway? Aren't your kind too scared to even make it into the forest?"

"Scared? No. What is there to be afraid of? The world is a wide, open, and beautiful place where we are all one and connected to each other." Gemini spoke with a smile. "That is what this Dark pool is? I believe we all receive a second shot at redemption, no? Nobody in this world deserves to suffer..Unless, they have things rather alright there. Though, I wouldn't suppose you know unless you practice some form of astral projection." The tom rambled, peering into the nearby fenced in forest. "Do you live there, uh..what is your name?"

Stream gave a snort. "You're a strange one, Kittypet." he meowed. He gave a harsh laugh. "Beautiful my tail. Dark pool is places murders go. Cats that do wrong for joy." he meowed. "I don't believe in anything. I just use it was a curse." The tom flicked his tail. "I live in the forest, yes. DeathClan, to be exact. The name's Stream."

Whether you like it or not, you're a beautiful thing from this world too. That's just what I believe though, that we're all engaging in this experience together; you know?" He meowed, before addressing what he just said. "Doing wrong for joy? Hm..." He couldn't seem to wrap his head around that one. "DeathClan? What is that, your home? Humans there, or something else?" He asked, knowing vaguely of cats living with other cats - though, he had never heard them called Clans. Just tidbits of word from loners passing through. "My name is Gemini, it's good to meet you brother."

Stream just shook his head. "Yeah. There aren't a ton of cats there, at least, stories tell us. I don't think there's anything there." he meowed. "Yes, it's my home. No humans from what we can tell." he rumbled. "B-brother? Listen, I have one sibling, and that's Siren."

"It's a phrase man, meaning friend. Don't worry." The tom said with a laugh and a flick of his tail. "Well maybe it's a good think you don't believe in such a thing. No cat deserves to go somewhere awful and mean for the afterlife, they deserve to come right back. For some in a kinder form than before." Gemini meowed with a nod. "No humans? That must be fun. I wouldn't call myself dependent on my family, they often forget to feed me so I've had to hunt for myself. I guess you could call me half and half, between loner and kittypet if that's what you called it. Gemini really fits." The tom finished with a purr.
