Gentle [Open]

[Lightheart]

Lightkit's pale tabby tail flashed as it swayed from side to side, slowly stirring up dust and dirtying the snowy-white underside of his tail. The little toms emerald gaze was fixed upon a small black beetle, not much bigger than his nose, that crawled around about two tail-lengths in front of him. The great Lightstar has spotted the mangy FireClan warrior that dared trespass on IceClan territory, Lightkit narrated in his head, creeping slightly forward. He waits and watches as the fuzzbrained warrior tramps about, probably attempting to steal some of IceClan's prey, the kit thrashes his tail one last time before pushing off the ground and leaping onto the unsuspecting beetle. "FireClan scum!" Lightkit growled. The black bug was trapped under one of his claws, the soft white fluff on his paws keeping the wings on the beetles back from spreading. Lightstar had captured the code-breaking warrior single-pawed! No one stands a chance against him. Lightkit watched the bug squirmed under his grasp, and felt a pang of pity for the small creature. "Alright, I'll let you got this one time," Lightkit whispered, lifting his paw and letting the beetle fly away.
With that the small kit turned around, licking his chest fur embarrassedly and hoping no one had caught his fleeting moment of sympathy.

[Faintkit]

Faintkit looked at Lightkit confusedly. What was he doing? The young blue and white tom thought that the tabby looked awfully funny playing with that bug... But it also looked like an amusing activity and wondered if he could become friends with this stranger. "E- excuse me?" He meowed shyly, "C- can I play t- too?"

[Lightheart]

Lightkit froze, realizing that a cat had actually spotted him. He turned slowly, spotting the other tom quiet quickly. "Yeah, um hi," Lightkit said, still a little startled. That's not how a leader speaks, Lightkit scolded himself, shaking his head before replying again, "I mean, of course you can play! We just have to find another trespas- er, beetle," he said, letting his green gaze sweep the nearby floor for a potential target for his next game.

The moment the young Glowkit had opened her eyes, she saw two other kits wrestling each other.  She had been observing them for a while now; at first she had thought they were actually fighting, but it soon appeared that they were playing a game.  I wonder if they'll let me play with them!  she thought.  Her tiny mouth yawning, she stood up on shaky legs, and padded over to them, tripping only a couple of times.  I hope walking will get easier eventually.  She thought.  Surely warriors didn't trip over themselves?  

As she approached the two young cats, she noticed that one was a pale tabby with emerald eyes and the other was a white and blue tom.  They were both males, and they looked engrossed in there own conversation.  Maybe I should come back some other time.  I don't think I should inturrupt.... she thought, worried.  

No, I think I'll stay and just watch until they notice me.  she decided.  She sat down, wrapped her tail around her tiny little feet, and observed the two kits.

[Faintkit]

Faintkit turned his head and meowed happily with his eyes closed, "A tressbug!" He made up his own words frequently, but this was his best. He opened his eyes a few moments ater and spotted Glowkit, "Hello."

"Hello." Replied Glowkit shyly. "What are you playing?" (Sorry, on my iPod)

[Lightheart]

Lightkit walked closer to the two, feeling slightly left out on the conversation. "Were catching mangy trespassers- ahem, I mean bugs," he said, giving a crooked smile.

Glowkit felt a spark of excitement flutter inside her.  They were playing a game, and it was a very interesting one at that!  That must have been what I saw the bigger kit leap on before the other kit joined.  she realized with a jolt.   Glowkit didn't like bugs very much, but even she had to admit that playing with them was fun.  

"Could I join you guys?"  Glowkit asked in excitement.  "I really love games, and I love jumping on things!"  her tiny little voice mewed.  She wondered what these other kits saw her as.  A tiny, helpless scrap of fur?  Or a determined young warrior?  She didn't know.  She just didn't know.

[Faintkit]

Faintkit looked at Glowkit with a smile and glint in his shiny blue eyes, "Sure!"

[Lightheart]

Lightkit bounced on his heels a bit, excited to have other cats playing with him. "Well, come on then," he said, thrashing his head about in hopes of spotting new insect as quick as possible. Sadly, this only resulted in making himself a little dizzy. Waiting until the world stopped spinning around him, Lightkit tried against to look for a bug, this time more slowly. It didn't take to long, not far off was another beetle, this one a dark brown in color."Found one," he stated. Okay, Light, no messing up this time, he thought, taking a soft step forward before stopping mid-step, "Actually, I just had a go, one of you want to try first?" he offered.

[Faintkit]

"I will!" Faintkit purred excitedly, crouchng down nd trying to leap onto the beetle, failing a few times but finally managing. He purred, shaking dust from his fur, "That was fun!"

[Lightheart]

Lightkit grinned at Faintkit's catch, "Awesome," he congratulated, looking around for a bug of his own, spotting another black beetle not far off, "ooh, there's another one! I got it". He carefully creeps forward, his pale tabby tail stirring up a bit of dust as it sways on the ground behind him. Apparently he wasn't careful enough though, and the bug, feeling his footsteps through the ground, begin to take off. Noticing this Lightkit leaped, claws hooking on the small beetles body just as it took off, "Got it!" he cheered, before looking at his paw, grimacing at the stick juice that had oozed form his catch, "ewww, bug sap, gross"
